    What in tarnation did I just read y'all?
    Ok, I'm not a cowgirl or from the south at all but it sounded good. Seriously though...that story was something else. Let's get down to business real quick.

    -neither virgins, h has had a couple boyfriends in college but no details and it seems to have been years since H was with OW. Not a manho.
    -dual POV
    -H is 36 y/o and h is 20 y/o
    -great epilogues at 2 months and another at 3 years out
    -no abuse
    -no cheating
    -no real OM/OW drama
    -H is OTT, gone for the h
    -love the H (well...duh, he is a Dani Wyatt hero so how can you not love him?) Here's a little taste of Garrett talking to Mary Beth.

    “Please, God, please stop crying. I can’t take it. I’ll do anything for the rest of your life to never see you cry again. Please, baby. Everything is going to be okay, I promise."

    So..saddle up partners and go for the ride of your life with this hunky cowboy. Experience much pleasure while visiting the Big Sky Ranch where the cowboys are OTT, alpha, sexy and ummm...well that's pretty much all you need to know. The story was written so well, I could actually picture myself right there witnessing what was happening. Great job. Definitely a re-read for me. 
    Also, at the end of the book is a link for Benjamin & Harriets story. So, I'm headed over yonder next...lol, I'm such a mess. 
    Really, grab this one.

    I really enjoyed reading this book. It did not piqued my interest the first couple of chapters, because the characters were so into their inner thoughts and feelings. At first I was not going to finish reading it, but I am one of those die hard readers that has to finish a story. And thank you Lord, that I continued reading it because the story took a turn, that had me so captivated and touch something deep inside my heart that I never want their story to end.

    Mary Beth is a traveler who writes a blog about the places she has been, the different cultures, cuisine, people, places and so much more. Only to arrive on a ranch with a cowboy that makes her heart races, her body sings and gushes like never before. The only problem is that, he behaves like she does not exist at all. Then the day came when he had to take her on a tour of the ranch alone for her blog, and it turns out to be so much more than she anticipated.

    Garrett is one of those hardcore possessive alpha cowboys, as well as a recluse and set in his ways. But from the moment Mary Beth stepped out of that vehicle, his entire world flash before him, his heart started racing and it was so much all at once, that he had to distance himself from the situation. But nearly loosing her on the tour of his ranch, has opened a floodgate of fear and lust that he had to stake his claim on her right there and then. His only problem now is getting her to understand the depths of his feelings for her, and how they are going to make things work between them.

    Now, will they be able to come to a compromise with Mary Beth's wanderlust and Garrett's fear of flying and his love for home?

    Let me preface this by saying I stan for Dani Wyatt and her brand of literary kink - OTT, obsessive, protective, alpha males and the woman they fall in love with instantly (with some daddy kink thrown in every now and again). So while I enjoyed Big Sky, I have to admit it's not one of my faves from her. What are my favorites, you ask? Mastering Her Heart and His Rules. Any who, I liked Garrett and his sweet cowboy heart and Mary Beth was alright too. I particularly like the fact that she had her own goals and dreams and aspirations and was not going to let love get in the way of them. I guess that was the big take away for me. I think I would have enjoyed the story more had it been a bit longer so that the characters could be a bit more fleshed out. Other than that, Big Sky is a fun, quick, and sexy read with the dash of sweetness I've come to expect from Dani Wyatt. 3 out of 5 wine glasses.

    Ah, big sky, big…you know, everything. This book is the best of Dani Wyatt for me. Obsessed, possessive hero. A man who knows what he wants a goes after it. Her. Intense emotion. A ton of steam. But not too over the top. I love Garrett. He’s a bit stalkery to begin with, but also stand-offish. Then something happens and all bets are off. There’s a down to earth groundedness about Garrett that’s very reassuring. Mary Beth was cute, but also somewhat naive. And there was a point where she jump to conclusions about Garrett which annoyed me. It did drive the story forward, and it forced Garrett’s hand on something, but it was stupid. I hate jumping to conclusions as a plot device almost as much as I hate miscommunication or non-communication. Not as much, but close. The moment it happened I was 🙄🙄🙄 so hard. It’s a good thing Garrett is a take action kind of guy. I’m also wondering if there’s a book or story for Buck who is Garrett’s partner at the ranch. I like a strong silent type and I’m curious about him.

    Well holy hotness miss wyatt has done it again. If only places like this existed in real life id go lasso me a cowboy yeehaw!! This book gave me all the feels it had insta-love hotness a bit of hold your breath drama with a whole lot of steam thrown in. The setting is a horse ranch where people visit for a taste of cowboy lifestyle. when our main couple see each other its a life altering moment but it takes a few days for any moves to be made. Garett has plans for Marybeth but it gets thrown out the window in catastrophic style. However once garret gets to claim Marybeth he thinks its a done deal-its not.As quick as he gets her he nearly loses her just as quick because of a misunderstanding. But of course he wont let that stand for long and goes for his girl, he gets her and they get a perfect HEA. No spoilers here but you will want to read this book. its short but you get so much packed in you wont regret it .

    Mary Beth is a travel writer with a wanderlust for the world, she has dreamt of roaming the world. Her latest addignment has led her to the Big Sky Dude Ranch but the one thing she wasn’t expecting was Garrett West, he set her body on fire from the first look but he seems to avoid her at every point, but when they take a ride out together everything she thought she knew changes and before she knows it she is lost in the one man she never thought she could have. But she doesn’t just want to be another notch on the cowboys bedpost and when she sees him leaving on a ride with another girl she thinks its time to go, is everything as it seems or has she got the wrong end of the stick?

    Garrett West was settled in life finally accepting that he was meant to be alone and live out his days on his ranch but his entire life changed the day he caught sight of Mary Beth and her new cowboy boots he knows that she is his destiny but would she ever look at the gruff set in his ways cowboy? Could he really have found the love that he always thought was out of reach or will he lose the woman that he wants forever?

    This was one seriously hot story, with a little drama but a perfect HEA and epilogue.
