    Wow this was such a good story but mostly just loved the whole idea of the vampire Wardens. The love of Eli and Ivy transfixes time as well as reincarnation of the soul searching for the love that you lost too soon. And I can’t wait for book 2 to find out where Ivy got all those images and characters to write her vampire book series. I would recommend this book to those who have never thought that a vampire book would be for them…this one defines them, or at least the class of wardens, who struggle the fine line between vampire and human while fulfilling their job to keep the innocent safe from the evil that is lurking in the world. Lisa Renee Jones has mastered the 2 sometimes 3-part novella production—always the perfect cliff hanger ending that leaves the reader time to not only contemplate what has happened but also to created their own scenarios as to where she will take the story from here. Soo 5 star worthy…book 2 can’t come soon enough.

    I love a soulmate story and this drew me in, Eli and his 'brothers' came across well and I want to know more about them all. Ivy was strong-minded and confident and had a great imagination which helped her become a writer.

    Eli and Ivy have a history, she may not remember it but the fact is she's real and Eli has to make a decision. I was gutted when I got to a cliffy and I'm looking forward to book 2.
