As Danno’s submissive, she hadn’t seen him in a few weeks, but when he needed help, she dropped everything to be with him, because she knew she loved him, and everything he did to her. An unexpected accident brought them closer together, as Danno’s dominant nature pushed him to take over control of her life, in order to protect her from all impending threats.

Threats against the Bennett empire haven’t stopped coming, and by being at his side, Carla has ended up in the crosshairs, just like everyone else in the ‘family’. What lengths will Danno go to in order to protect this delicate woman, who stole his heart the night they met?

This is a dark romance story, featuring content which may not suit all readers, or may be triggering. It is a standalone book, with HEA, and the characters will appear again in a future book, but will not be the focus of that book.

    I'm a big fan of this series and this book is another example of why. If you've read the other books in the series, you've already gotten a täste of Danno, but this book delivers the full meal...and it is delicious!

    Danno is such a perfect mix of sëxy and dänger0us alpha but with a protective streak that will make you swoon. His job puts him in constant dänger (no surprise considering he works for the Bennett brothers), but the dänger has never stopped him. In fact, it's something he's always thrived in. But certain events force him to face his own mørtality, and he's no longer able to hide who is he or what he does from Carla.

    Carla has her own past that haunts her to this day. She has her ways of coping and one of the biggest ways is the escape and release that Danno gives her in the bedroom (so freaking 🔥 btw). They both need each other more than they want to admit and I love that Danno knew when to push her out of her comfort zone. Loved seeing these two come together!

    Can't wait for the next book in the series

    I'm a huge Mia fan and this series is by far the read of the year. Book boyfriends abound and the stories are hotter and hotter and Danno is freaking 5 alarm fire baby. Just. Anything and everything you want from an obsessive main male and Carla well. They couldn't be better paired. This one is going on the reread list. Immediately
