    Every single time I open the cover of a book these two authors have penned, I think I have somewhat of an idea what’s coming. Every single time they prove me wrong.

    Having devoured the Guarded Hearts series, I am thoroughly enjoying this series as well. The storyline twists and turns, and has your emotions all over the place. The characters are so beautifully raw and broken, and yet strong and determined, you can’t help but fall for each one of them and hope that they make it through to the other side.

    I cannot recommend this series enough !

    I have enjoyed all these books, both the original series and the current spinoff. I am really looking forward to what's coming up in the next books, because I'm pretty sure they are going to be great.

    I think that Maverick's actions came from a good place, but they weren't necessarily the best things to do. I think that he might have been a little bit naive sometimes, which kind of surprised me since he's supposed to be this warrior who has been around for a while, but yeah, he just misses things. I think it happens because he wants the best outcome to happen so much that he's willing to kind of gloss over things.

    I don't blame Blue for any of her actions. I can totally understand why she did what she did and why she had no trust in anyone. I would've been in the exact same place.

    I can’t fathom enough how these authors write so seamlessly together but they just do and I’m so happy for it! Blue has had a rough go of it fighting in underground matches for the Death’s Head MC after she and her twin were captured. Once she was rescued by the Hell’s Fury MC she believes she has just traded one captor for another but Maverick will do anything in his power to prove that she is wrong. After their one encounter she shuts down and doesn’t complete the bond. Maverick needs to prove to her that he doesn’t need to be lumped into the box she has put all of them in so he devise a plan to rescue her twin after his next fight. Will he succeed? Will Blue throw a wrench into his plans?

    I don’t know how they do it, but once again Nia and Marta wrote a story that has it’s own storyline and characters. Usually when following a serie, it repeats itselves, but not here.
    Maverick and Blue fights their own battle, despite all the happenings around them. With Mavericks soft handle, Blue can take her time and start trusting again.
    There are so many things I want to know about the other characters too, as Maria, Cody, Lillith and Eagle-eye….

    Another winner and great collaboration with these two authors. Great storytelling. Wonderful characters and chemistry and so addicting. This is a mc, shifter, enemies to lovers book. I absolutely loved it.

    I have loved all the books in the Guarded Hearts series by these authors and this book did not disappoint.

    I really enjoyed the story of Blue and Maverick. Everytime I had a feeling of where to story might be going I was taken in a different direction. I can't wait to read more in the series.
