This book had me reading late into the night, and I prioritised it over everything the next morning. For me, it felt just right in what a consider a good read. The plot had me hooked and the characters of Jerry Sanders and his wife Diana made me feel welcomed into their seaside cafe. I am not a fan of thrillers but this novel held a good pace of intrigue that had me glued to it.
