    This is a great story, second in the series. Yes it has hot as hell love scenes, but it also has a great plot with a happy ending. The author has touched on many great topics blending them seamlessly, adding depth to the characters. Love is a powerful tool, as is portrayed in this book. Ruthie is a great match for Damien and vice versa. Totally recommend this series. Thanks you for another great read Ms. Petrova! Looking forward to the next one.

    The 2nd book in the Boot Knockers Series was FULL of steamy sex, and can be read as a stand-alone.
    Ruthie, a third-grade teacher from a modest, religious family decides she's ready to confront her abnormal views on sex and enjoy a week of stress-free, non-commitment, sexy-time with a genuine cowboy on a working Texas ranch. (And BOY does she get that plus some!)
    Damian is the bad-boy cowboy, with a guarded past that decides to be Ruthie's "guide"...and what a guide he is :)

    I LOVED the 1st book in this series, unfortunately I didn't enjoy this one as much.
    I was waiting for some shocking reveal from Damian, which was hinted to throughout the story. I think I wanted a lot more "story" to occur, but instead was treated to a tremendous amount of sex (which isn't necessarily a bad thing).
    Overall, I did like the characters, the sex was hot, and I love the idea of the Ranch!
