Adite Banerjie discovered the wonderful world of books at an early age which sparked her interest in writing. After a fulfilling and exciting career as a business journalist she turned her attention to fiction.

Three of her books have been published by Harlequin/Harper Collins India. She is now committed to being an indie author.

She also writes screenplays and in 2017 one of her scripts made it to the semi-finals of the prestigious Academy Nicholl Fellowships.

When she is not grappling with her current work-in-progress, she enjoys spending time with her husband and watching back-to-back movies.

    I have enjoyed Adite's books since the beginning and Bombay Heights is another delight! She doesn't bog down the flow of the story with too many descriptions but at the same time - in just a few colorful words - the reader is automatically transported to another country and world. I have never visited India (but hope to one day), but with Adite's books, I feel like I know India as if I used to live there. And at the same time, her stories have such universal appeal. It doesn't matter what country you live in, we all can relate to stories about love and family.

    ...Bombay Heights was every bit as romantic as a story set in Paris or London or New York City.

    I loved the details of everyday life, but never felt like I was reading a travelogue instead of watching people fall in love. The final scene with Sanjana's sisters was heartwarming, and Ash's ongoing interactions with his dog were entertaining the whole way through.

    This would be a fun romance no matter the setting, but the setting makes it all the more memorable!

    Bombay Heights is a perfect summer read. Read this in one sitting ! Without a doubt fun, exciting, highly enjoyable, heartfelt and undeniably sweet and well written. A perfect romcom, had me rolling with laughter one moment, making me have the feels the next ,it’s definitely one of my favorite summer reads. I have been a huge fan of Adite Banerjie and have read all of her previous books. She is a master of weaving beautiful plots and captivating her readers from the get go . She is the queen of pulling off any genre with her phenomenal writing style be it mills and boon style romance, family drama , suspense and now a rom com. Bombay Heights proves it yet again how phenomenal Adite is as an author and what a brilliant & talented storyteller she is.

    I loved both Ash & Sanjana characters. The chemistry & interactions and one liners between them were just brilliant.I enjoyed the banter between Ash & Sanjana with their sassy and witty comebacks. Like her previous stories she has not focused on just her main protagonists but there are other characters who play important role in the story. The dialogue and some of the scenes were ridiculously funny. Adite sure has a wicked sense of humor. I was swooning over Ash and his puppy duo , they made the best combo. Gosh he was the cutest thing ever. The story, dialogues everything from the start to end was so crisp and well written and Adite was able to create very distinct voices for each of the characters. She was able to convey this books true humor, passion and emotions, I felt like I was watching a show on Netflix....This story can definitely be turned into a very cute movie.

    Though it was a rom com, it was not superficial and a fluff just to fill up the pages , it was perfect read with emotions and enough depth. It was captivating, and unputdownable story , took me by surprise in the best possible way . Definitely a very satisfying & enjoyable read. I can’t wait to read what this talented author would write up next and which genre she would choose next to venture experimenting in . Kudos to Adite for yet another successful book under her belt. Highly rate this book. And would highly recommend it!

    Sanjana and Ashwin are young and beautiful. Both inside and out. Dog lovers. Sigh. What more could a romance lover want? When they came together, Sanjana carried a baggage from her past in the form of Chetan. Despicable character perfectly etched by Adite Banerjie. I loved the restaurant scene when Chetan meets Ashwin in front of Sanjana's family. Howlarious. Adite has a good sense of comic timing and I think she has used it well to make the readers find out more about Ashwin and Sanjana. And Ashwin is not a perfect character too. He has some vices which as the story progresses, Sanjana helps him to overcome. He becomes her strength -not that she needed it, being a spunky girl herself, but when a friend holds your hand and tell you that everything will be fine - you just know it will be. So along with the cutie dog, Howlarious Pinky (grrrrr...) and sisters who have some ready comebacks always ready, this book is a must-read.

    There is a lot of humor, a wonderful coming of age story and a great romance packed in one Book. In between glimpses of Professional Museologists, designing videogames and everyday life in Mumbai. I so enjoyed this book that let me experience something new while travelling in my mind back to one of my favorite countries.

    If you're looking for a nice easy and smooth book to snuggle up in this weather and read along with a cup of steaming hot chocolate ; then this is the book. An urban story of a young woman, her life in the city, a hot neighbour who is also her work colleague. The author writes with a seasoned pen and the characters are beautifully etched and very relateable. I enjoyed the book immensely and will look out for more books from the author.
