    Triggers:
    kidnapping, attempted rape, memory of a stillborn child and some ow involvement (no cheating)

    Spoilers:
    Linc, an MMA fighter who gets injured in a fight and is addicted to porn and more specifically, porn star Eve. To try and fix his addiction, Linc decides he must meet Eve in person. 

    Claire, sister to Eve aka Mandy. When Eve(Mandy) is strung out and unable to fulfill her obligations to the people she owes money too, Claire has to step in for her.

    The chemistry between Linc and Claire is strong. The author did a great job creating the story. Mob ties, drug abuse, violence, plenty of sexy time. HEA

    I am so addicted to the MMA heroes in the Cocky Cage Fighters series, even though I don't enjoy really enjoy the sport. With every book I love the Hero of that one more than the previous one. Linc is the Sweet Southern Fighter with the Heart of Gold who has an Obsession for a porn star. He's not proud of it and he wants to get over it by any means possible. The Heroine is a Porn Star for a night ... or two ... or more against her will only because she shares the same looks as her sister the real porn star. It's on that first night of her substitution that the Heroine, Claire, meets the Hero, Linc. Linc appeared in the previous novel in the Cocky Cage Fighters series and was an adorable, funny, and Hot big brother character. I couldn't help falling in love with him. In this novel he shows what a true Romantic he is - he dives all in without looking. Claire is cautious and careful due to her sister and brother's penchant for trouble, she is surrounded by sharks. She's at the point where she's struggling to keep them from dragging her down. She is pushed to the point in which she feels she has to abandon her moral code in order to save her sister's screw up and pose as a porn star - she meets Linc. Their "Meet Cute" is a story that they are going to have to change for the grandkids. Their chemical reaction is immediate and truly combustible - we are talking e-reader melting HOT. They are thrown together by luck and at the same time used by dangerous sharks who bring them even closer. Just as they overcome a tragic even it also tears them apart.
    I love this book in the Cocky Cage Fighter series! The character of Linc was my favorite in the previous novel. I'm a geek so when I learned that Linc's parents named him after the character in the video game "Zelda" I was a goner. Also, throughout "Linc" the character Jude calls him Zelda constantly - hilarious! But Lane Hart has created a sweet good ol' boy with a heart of gold MMA cage fighter. A true romantic and protector but an Alpha hero as well. Claire is a strong heroine the caretaker of her siblings constantly trying to keep them on the straight and narrow path - putting their needs before her own. Finding a good man like Linc is too good to be true - a Cinderella story. This book is sweet, sexy, and thrilling. The secondary characters - the other fighters at the gym, who you know are going to have their own novels - are awesome. I definitely love this series, each installment is better than the last.

    Absolutely loved this book! It had drama, smoking hot romance, a gorgeous hero with a slightly worrying obsession with a porn star.....hmm! I knew I had to read it immediately. From the uncomfortable first meeting to the gorgeous epilogue, I loved Linc and Claire's relationship. I was a bit worried about Linc's 'little' infatuation with Eve but somehow everything fell into place ( I must admit Claire was quite forgiving, I don't think I would have been knowing about Linc's ulterior motive at the start). Throw in an ex, some drama, sleazy mafioso and you have an awesome book. Highly recommend it and Linc is being added to my BB list. Bring it Mace, I can't wait for your book!!!!

    As for the previous books in the series I must say that I loved the story. More than that I appreciate that one book is very different from the other, not a mere reiteration of facts and premade sentences.

This is the third book in the Cocky Cage fighter series, they can be read as stand-alone reads but they do read better as a series in my eyes as each book we get a little more of the overall story, we get to see the guys from Havok pop up in each other’s stories, and sometimes we see more than a little pop up.
    Lincoln ‘Linc Abrams is an MMA fighter who until his last fight where he got injured was a world champion, now he is stuck at home helping a friend get over a broken heart and allowing his obsession to take over his life. See Little Linc has a habit and its starting to take over his life, what started out as something to help him get over a broken heart, watch a little porn to mask the pain became something so much more all because of her ‘Eve Kelly’. When it comes to a head he decides that if he just meets her, maybe he can get her out of his system.
    Claire Reed has always done anything possible to help her little brother and sister, she would go to the ends of the earth for them, and even went across country once so they could dip their toes in the beach because she thought it was the best thing, so when her little sister Mandy isn’t able to perform for her job, as Mandy is due at a club to perform as ‘Eve Kelly’. Claire knows they need the money so she dresses as her sister and puts on a show for them, they look alike so no one would know the difference, and even though Claire would never behave like this, she feels like she has no other choice as Mandy isn’t fit for performing and they need the money that badly she can’t say no. Just how far would you be able to go for family? All is going okay until she is done, thinking she is home free she gets another offer too good to refuse, a private dance for an MMA fighter. A dance is all it is, isn’t it?
    What will happen when Linc is faced with what he thinks is reality? And will Claire ever be able to help her brother and sister in the way they need? Or will someone need to help her before it’s too late for her?
