This is the complete three book arc that introduces Frank Rozzani and his team including Jonesy, Anita, Nancy, Fat Sam, and, of course, Lucy. This collection is available for one low price. Here is a synopsis of each book:

Book 1 - Frankly Speaking

A 16 year old girl has disappeared. The police believe she is a runaway. Her parents believe she has been taken and is being held against her will. When the parents enlist the services of Frank Rozzani, a former police officer turned private detective, a series of events begins to unfold that implicates a popular local pastor and the religious stronghold of the ultra-conservative community.

Frank Rozzani, a transplant to Jacksonville, Florida from Syracuse, New York, must find the young girl despite the obstacles launched at him from the local police and others whose interests may be compromised by his investigation. Frank enlists the help of his associate Clifford “Jonesy” Jones to find the girl, uncover the conspiracy, and stay alive. While solving the case, Frank must deal with the demons that drove him from Upstate New York causing him to leave traumatic memories and his children behind.

Like his character, Frank Rozzani, Don was born in Syracuse, New York to first generation Italian American parents. He’s an avid reader. Some of my favorite authors are Harlan Coben, David Morrell, Stephen King, Jonathan Kellerman, John Grisham, and Hugh Howey. His favorite book of all time is To Kill a Mockingbird.

He started writing as a way to combat the long hours of travel and numerous hotel stays that are part of the ‘glamorous’ world of corporate life. He use writing as a therapeutic outlet to combat his homesickness.

His first published book, Frankly Speaking, rose to the top of the Amazon charts. It was the first in a series of books focused on the character, Frank Rozzani, a Florida private detective. The series is a throwback to the days of pulp detective novels with a tip of the hat to Jim Rockford from the 70’s television show, The Rockford Files. He's also released a collection of short stories called Random Tales that is available for your Kindle or in paperback.

Also, look for his non-fiction book, The Ultimate Guide For Independently Published Authors: Tips for improving quality and selling your work, now available on Amazon.com as an eBook or in paperback

He moved to Jacksonville, Florida 22 years ago where he currently lives with his wife, daughter, and three dogs.

I do not like Murder Mysteries, but Don makes them a fun read. Never boring. I LUV how he adds the life of the main characters as tho they are real people I know! Not graphically gory either.

4.0 out of 5 stars A well put together trilogy
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on August 15, 2017
I took my time getting to like Frank and his side kick Jonesy. They are people with back stories and idiosyncrasies but still appears to be good guys rather than flawed characters their circumstances suggested they might be. But over the three stories they gained an intriguing depth, made mistakes and did not win all their battles. This was especially evident in Frank's slow burning relationship with the Vet. The stories are nicely twisted and different yet compliment the overarching story of Frank and how he will confront the demons in his past. If occasionally the lucky breaks seem to focus on Frank and Jonesy, that can happen in real life too and never do these gear changes jar. The author plots a good story, he adds depth to his peripheral characters and he paces each book to draw us to each denouement. I read all three in short order so it is difficult to say if they would work as stand alone books but my impression is they would. But then you would miss out on a quality tale.
If I had one small criticism, which says more about my preferences, it is that there was a tendency to repeat facts unnecessarily, especially early in each text as if the author didn't trust his readers to pick up essential points. That said the revelation of the important back stories worked well and was never less than compelling.
