    The writing is shallow and the "fights" are repetitive. I believe the author has a 10 year old to write the action scenes. I'm not sure that English is the authors first language because of some of the word usage. I get tired of "impossible speed" "incredible force" and "shockwaves" along with the overuse of; "vector", "vectoring" and the fact that a character sets a vector and heads off on that vector....
    I thought I was getting a deal when I bought the series, and after reading the 1st one I was pleased. It has been downhill from there, only 6 more to wade through.
