Bound (A Faery Story Book 1) Kindle Edition
A stranger in a strange land
Megan Starke has given up believing in knights in shining armor. With an unrewarding job and a failed marriage, no one would confuse her life with a fairy tale. No one is coming to save the day or carry her off to a romantic fantasy. So when she wakes up in a magical world and discovers she is to be the grand prize in a fierce and bloody tournament, she isn’t sure if she’s having a sexy dream or a horrible nightmare.
Two kings without a kingdom
Beckett and Cian were raised to be the saviors of their people. Prepared all their lives to lead the Seelie Fae, prophecy proclaimed they would find a bondmate whose love would complete them and unleash their magical powers. But the thrust of a traitor’s blade stole that future and now it threatens to take their lives. Struggling in exile, their glorious destiny has become a curse. Unless they can find the perfect woman to save them, they will descend into madness and ruin. When all hope seems lost, Beck sees Meg and knows she’s the key to their salvation.
An epic battle begins
In a world filled with dethroned kings, upwardly mobile vampires, and dangerous, feline-loving hags, Meg will need all her strength to survive. Finding herself caught between Beck and Cian, she’s willing to do whatever it takes to claim her happily ever after.

- Reviewed in the United States on November 14, 2019A Faery Story is a three book trilogy (Bound, Beast, Beauty) that each has it's own happily ever after but with an interconnected thread that runs throughout all of the books. This is the tales of the otherworldly inhabitants of the Seelie, Unseelie, and Vampire (among a few others) planes as they fight a tyrant who has taken over the Seelie throne and causes chaos through the worlds.
BOUND, book 1, starts the trio with the story of Earth-plane Meg who is kidnapped by a Planewalker demon and finds herself as a prize at a consort market for those join the tournament and Beck and Cian, symbiotic twins who are desperate for a mate to complete them so that they can fight for their rightful throne. Meg has to learn to live in a world so different than the world she was born into as well as balance two husbands.
With excellent world-building and a vibrant cast of characters, Bound is a great mix of action, humor, and sexy wrapped up in an erotic fairy tale. Meg is a modern Earth woman who is snatched from all she knows and ends up in a world of gnomes, Seelie fae, vampires, witches, and ogres. She handles herself well (read: doesn't completely lose it), even when hero, Beck, comes to make sure that she is a consort and compatible with him and his twin. Beck and Cian while twins couldn't be more different. Beck is the warrior half ~ all brawn and not much tact. Cian is the intellectual ~ a lover, not a fighter. The story moves at a quick pace, giving out plenty of information about Blake's Fae world without bogging it down. There is mate bonding (and it is Lexi Blake so you know what that means!), doppelgangers, fights with selkies, and hags. A fun mythical adventure.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 8, 2019So, I read this book when it was originally published under Sophie Oak. I loved this trilogy and thought it deserved more than 3 books. There is such a wonderful world to be explored and I was seriously disappointed there were only 3 books. I am ecstatic Lexi was able to update these books with her current Lexi-verse and how she has seamlessly tied 3 series together (Faery, M&M, and Thieves). Since Lexi has gotten the rights back and re-edited and added to the original work to better tie into her Lexi-verse, it is an even better book. The little tidbits she added to tie it in with her other series are terrific, and some you really have to pay attention to recognize! They totally make you think and and then you "I remember that! That's so cool! (to quote Queen Meg)" I can't wait to see how she ties in the other 2 books with her fictional world. I would seriously love to live in the Dallas, TX that Lexi has created and cannot wait to see where she takes us next. It's amazing to have an author create such a realistic, diverse, colorful fictional universe that you would want to live in. I have a few fave authors who have done the same (J.R. Ward and Karen Marie Moning to name two) and Lexi is a "must-buy" for me. I don't even think about buying her books, I just do, it's a no-brainer. Lexi writes it, I buy it. If you truly want a to read an author who has the ability to immerse you in their world, Lexi Blake is one of those authors.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 28, 2019When Megan is abducted by a demon and taken to a different realm at first she assumes its a horrible nightmare. Then, when she starts to understand what has happened all she can think about is finding a way to escape and get back home. But the longer she spends in Faery, especially with twin brothers Beckett and Cian, the more she starts to question herself. Why return home to a dead end job, a failed marriage and a family she never sees when she could stay here and be happy? But first Meg has to decide whether she can accept the relationship that Beck and Cian are offering her or whether she prefers to fight for something on her own terms.
I've become a huge Lexi Blake fan since I first started reading her rereleased Sophie Oak books, I love the Texas Sirens and Nights in Bliss series and I really like the way all of her books tie into one large universe. As much as I love her contemporary romances I'm really a paranormal girl at heart so I wanted to read this series the minute I first heard about it and I wasn't disappointed. Bound is a great introduction and pulls readers into a world full of fae and vampires, one with multiple realms and interesting politics.
Meg is a great character, she's a normal human girl who had no idea that other realms existed until she was forcibly taken into one so she's totally out of her depth in the beginning but she's no pushover and once she starts to figure things out she works hard to make a place for herself. She's had enough of living for other people's expectations and is determined to take control of her own destiny. Beck is the more dominant of the twins, he's the one who likes to be in control and who wants to protect the people he cares about but he has a few personal hangups that were very frustrating for Meg to deal with. I could understand why he acted the way he did but I was glad that Meg fought to show him what she needed. Cian was definitely the more relaxed brother, he's more of a joker and takes things less seriously but that doesn't make him any less committed to Meg and their relationship. Meg had a great connection with both of her men and this story was just as hot as the Bliss / Texas Sirens books.
I think what I loved most was that Meg was the real hero of the story, she is the one who comes to the rescue and she definitely earns her happily ever after. I loved the twin's vampire cousin Dante so I'm really happy that his book is next and I'm looking forward to continuing the series.

5.0 out of 5 stars m/m/f with a difference
Bought this whole series as soon as possible (as I believe Ms Blake has only just reaquired the rights to these books). Loved loved loved it, never been much for mmf books but this was a different theme as the twins had one soul but two bodies warrior/scholar. My only down side to Lexis books she tends to always mention the size of the female, I know most of us are tired of the stereotypical female but am now getting slightly fed up of the saying carrying an extra 10 lbs, slight buddha belly lets just not mention the weight, I tend to read that and then ignore and imagine what I want anyway, cus its normally me in my head lol.

5.0 out of 5 stars The beginning .... oh the Planes that exist and people we meet
I loved this book. There are Faere creatures, snarky Vampires and Warrior Kings and that is only in the first chapter. Meg has woken in place that she has no idea about by crikey she finds her happy here. It takes stealth and cunning to get her two Men where she wants and needs them to be. Cian and Beck twin brothers find more than they bargained for in a spit fire who takes her coffee strong and knows what she likes in the bedroom too. I am excited to continue this journey. Bring on Dante's book.

5.0 out of 5 stars An exciting read!
Like all of Lexi's books, you connect with her characters and are immediately immersed in their world. This was such an exciting read! I read through the night, I couldn't put it down and am so excited to read the next instalment!

5.0 out of 5 stars Have waited ages for this series to be availble
Having read all of Lexi Blake books was desperate to get my hands on this trilogy (featuring a different H/h or HH/h (as book 1 and 3 are about)) for years.
Was not disappointed - the plot line was excellent, the humour just as you would expect and the sex scenes HOT HOT HOT.
As she now has the rights back for these three books she has incorporated some of her M&M characters.

5.0 out of 5 stars The start of another adventure with the Fae
I'm looking forward to the next in this series because this book has set the scene for what promises to be another entertaining and enjoyable set of characters you can relate to. If you liked Thieves or Hunter then you will like this
