Brady's Choice: When it comes to love, choosing between the past and the present is never easy … Kindle Edition
Thirty-six-year-old potter Brady Treherne is shocked to come face-to-face with his ex-lover, Philip, during what appears to be a simple job interview. Philip was both the love of his life and the man who got away, and seeing him now catapults Brady into revisiting memories he’d hoped he’d left behind.
Later that evening, Philip calls on him at home, and Brady finds himself having to make a choice between the man he used to love, and the new relationship he has just begun with another man.
Which will he choose and can Brady reconcile his past with his future at all?
Perfect for fans of thoughtful romance.
Reviews:
"This is packed with emotional intensity and contains a very flawed first person narrator in Brady. It's a great read with strong characterisation and fluid writing. Grade: Excellent.” [Well Read Reviews]
“Brooke excels in the short story format and this offering has all the hallmarks I’ve come to expect: good writing, developed characters, a tense situation, sensuality over explicit sex, and an unusual ending. Basically this short hits all the high points and is very entertaining to read. Easily recommended for contemporary romance fans.” [Three Dollar Bill Reviews]
“Brady’s Choice is a short but intense story examining the issue of ‘the one that got away’ and it portrays it in an effective, concise manner. Brooke’s ability to pack such a great deal of information into so few words is amazing.” [Rainbow Book Reviews]

- Reviewed in the United States on August 21, 2018This was a short story, but I loved it. I loved Brady, he stood up to show he was not afraid to love.
- Reviewed in the United States on June 20, 2016From beginning to end, this book made no sense to me. In the beginning Brady was needy and Phillip a jerk. Five years later and they are still the same. No meaning in this book and totally depressing!!

3.0 out of 5 stars Not a romance
This is not a romance. Instead it is a man coming to terms with the end of a relationship which had broken him. It's well written but I didn't find either of the characters sympathetic.

4.0 out of 5 stars A Touching Tale
Very short but very sweet as we see a romance die (ok, I know, that doesn't sound so sweet, hear me out). This is about recovery, moving on and making a decision.
