Bring to Light (London Lies 3) Kindle Edition
It's not a simple task though. They need proof. They need people to speak up. And they need to keep their hands off each other long enough to track down the other manipulated Lotus Flowers, convince them to come forward and find a way to bring it all to the public. Not so easy when they're up against the most powerful men in London who are determined to separate and silence them by any means possible.
It's a race against time, with a deadline not only on their story or their growing relationship but on their entire lives.

About the author

Brought up in a relatively small town in Hertfordshire, C F White managed to do what most other residents try to do and fail—leave.
She eventually settled for pie and mash, cockles and winkles and a bit of Knees Up Mother Brown to live in the East End of London; securing a job and creating a life, a home and a family.
She writes gritty British based stories about imperfect men falling in love against the odds and has been accused of sprinkling a little humour into them too.

Amazing ending to a fantastic trilogy

- Reviewed in the United States on May 3, 2021I really enjoy C.F. White books. I adored her District Line series, and so leapt in with both feet to the London Lies series. I’m so glad I did. These books have been exciting. A look back at 1999 and the advent of Internet Journalism. And an inside look at the entertainment industry. And a few crimes thrown in for good measure.
This book picks up right where Book 2 left off. Fletcher and Jackson are on the run. The first scene, though, involves a family member of Fletcher getting into some trouble. I wasn’t surprised, but I did wonder where that plot line was going to lead.
Anyway, Fletcher and Jackson are back in London. The intrepid reporter and the mega star are on the trail of a killer. Jackson’s girlfriend, Tallulah Payne, was murdered. Yes, Jackson’s friend Chris claimed he did it, and committed suicide, but that was always too neat and tidy. Jackson’s gut tells him that’s not the truth. Fletcher doesn’t believe it either. To prove who’s really behind all this, the men are going to have to be creative. This includes Fletcher showing back up at the office of London Lights, the Internet rag he worked for. I was surprised they hadn’t revoked his pass, but then security never seemed a priority. Dishing on celebrities was.
Fletcher also has to face Heston – the man he lived with for two years. The man he believed himself in love with. The man who betrayed him. Another fascinating piece of the puzzle.
Bad guys abound in these books, but there are also little story lines that break through. Like Jackson’s brother’s illness. Their parents. The industry that used and abused young boys and girls. Jackson and Fletcher plan to bring it all down. But they may lose everything in the process – including their lives.
There’s also the little matter of Jackson being in the closet. Fletcher is coming to care for the man, but can their budding relationship survive?
Okay, so it’s a CF White romance, and I got my satisfying ending. A sweet ending, in fact.
I’ll mention Piers Ryman quickly – he deserves a lot of praise. He made these great books even better, and I’m so pleased I went along for the ride. Well done all around, and I highly recommend the series.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 10, 2020Wow. So many details were tied together in this book! There was more going on all along that didn’t come to light until book 3.
Our guys managed to topple the evil empire in spectacular fashion. They saved the farm and started their new lives together, too. It was pretty suspenseful along the way, too! It was really ramped up a notch from the first two books.
Once I started, I couldn’t stop until I was done. An excellent end to the trilogy.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 22, 2021This is the final book in C.F. White’s London Lies trilogy. You’ll want to listen to Fade to Blank and Hide to Seek first. As such, this review may contain spoilers to the first two books.
Things absolutely come to a head during this book. Jackson & Fletcher uncover even more in their mission to discover who murdered Tallulah and Chris. The deeper they dig, the more they realize this involves a greater conspiracy than they ever could have imagined. White sets a perfect pace that keeps you wanting to listen without interruption – this is a fantastic mix of thriller, mystery, and suspense with steamy romance.
It’s hard to believe that the entire series only covers mere weeks because she packs so much in. While it is a short time period, because we get to know Fletcher and Jackson so well as individuals and as a couple – the HEA is completely believable. I also adored the epilogue and the future White unfolds for this unlikely pairing.
Of note: Because it had been a few months – I relistened to the first two books again right before and this is the kind of trilogy you can listen to more than once and discover new things. Truly enjoyable.
Narration:
Piers Ryman wraps up this series with another fantastic narration. His performance is so consistent from the previous books, you could easily binge this and not tell he ever took a break in between books. I continue to be impressed with his effortless switch between voices and accents.
I purchased the ebook, however I did receive a free copy of the audiobook from the author and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

- Reviewed in the United States on December 15, 2020Holy, wow. What a series!
I’ve been on the edge of my seat since book one, and the ending of this book was a long time coming! I don’t even know where to start, because I don’t wanna give anything away. The suspense is part of the fun!
By this point, in the series, I am very invested in Jackson and Fletcher’s lives. Everything is connected now, no longer just about Jackson or Fletcher. They are in it together, and so am I.
This story picks up where book two left off. Diego just keeps getting more and more evil, with every book. Along with his henchman, Billy, they are easily the creepiest bad guys I’ve had the displeasure of reading about. Diego isn’t the man in charge though, and this goes further, and deeper, than Jax and Fletcher first thought.
This series is well written, and the character development is just incredible. Even the bad guys were perfectly written. No character was spared having dimension and purpose. I was really impressed with all of it. As each book, minus this last one, where we FINALLY get answers and a HEA for our heroes, ends in a cliffhanger, this series really needs to be read in order. There is no way you can catch up if you skip a book.
I’m kinda sad to see this series come to an end, but I can always start the series over. There are the audiobook versions as well. I’d be remiss not to mention that. Piers Ryman has done a tremendous job with the first two books, and I’m looking forward to adding book three to my audio library.

5.0 out of 5 stars Final Book in an incredible series.
This is not a standalone read, IMO you need to read the previous two book as the characters and stories are built over the series.
We meet Jackson and Fletcher again as they head back to London from Ireland. They are tight on money, have no where safe to stay but are determined to release Jacksons story but need proof before anyone will believe them.
The action and drama that has been written into this book is incredible. Suspense and sitting on the edge of your chair becomes reality whilst reading this book. The twist and turns weren't expected and kept me guessing.
Well worth the read, its a shame that the series has come to an end, but looking forward to future books from C.F.White.

3.0 out of 5 stars Hmmm: 3.5 Stars
Am reviewing book 3 and also considering it in the whole as a trilogy and overall - a solid 3.5 stars. Whilst Fletcher & Jackson were both likeable and believeable as characters, what irritated most were the following - be warned, slight spoilers to follow:
1) Why was it set 20 years ago? The only reason I can really think of was that being gay & publicly out was less well-viewed/known then? That said, this does not seem to have been enough of a reason for this setting and, whilst I realise am a bit of a pedant, get the technology right! For example, in Book1 the author refers to Fletcher working on his laptop on the tube. In 1999. Impossible; Also - references to tapping a mobile - you didn't, you had buttons. To press! Plus, the first internet cafe opened in London in 2004 and not 1999. Again - a bit of research would have solved these errors & not irritated pedants, like me! And they were not the only ones, but the ones I made note of in irritation!
2) Portrayal of women - all of them, perhaps Fletcher's mother aside were portrayed as weak, money-grabbing & beauty obsessed/fatuous. As a female, I object to this portrayal of my gender and see it as internalised misogyny. Why would you write them this way? Jackson's mother was especially portrayed in this manner. It... irritates.
3) The ending of book 3 - needed a far better ending, with perhaps an epilogue, extra chapter of them further down the line. If you've spent three books following 2 MCs lives, it's rather disheartening to have to end up with a 'grand'.
All of the above probably make it sound as if the book/books were not enjoyable. They were, but they irritated a wee bit and too much for me to give them anything more than a 3.5 star rating. This author's books are normally ones I hoover up, she writes well and interesting tales, but this had something missing. A shame, could have been better.

There were only a couple of things that grrr me 😡
1. I felt a little disappointed at the way women were portrayed in this series. 😒
2. Ending seemed rushed to me. I would have liked knowing the outcome of certain peoples😵💫
