After months of rehab, Lane finally feels like life is headed in the right direction. Between starting his own business and helping out Trace with Club Incubus, his bank account is looking fantastic too. His friendship with Walker gets deeper every day. Until Lane looks over one day and realizes he’s in love with the guy.

Walker never expects to fall for someone half his age, especially someone like Lane. For a long time, Walker didn’t even like the guy. After months of visiting doctors together, getting Lane’s life on track, now Walker is the one who needs help. The only difference is, Walker has no intention of dragging Lane into his problems. Lane just finished rehab. Walker can’t disrupt his life. It’s too bad Walker ends up crushing Lane in the process of keeping him at arm’s length.

Can these two men meet in the middle while both on shaky ground? Lane is up for the challenge. If only Walker would let him in.

    This is my favorite book by this author. It took you on an emotional roller coaster. It was hot, but there was also so much story. I actually had tears in my eyes at one point. What a love story this book was. Lane and Walker do not disappoint. Definitely read the first book in this series to get more background.

    Lane is not the addict everyone believes he is, Walker is holding back secrets even while he falls for Lane. This is so emotional, my feelings were everywhere. Few times I silently yelled Noooo! to happy to anxious, to WTF.
    Not sure the series can top.this book, maybe any book for a bit. Will read the next in the series but migh jump over to a different genre for a couple of books before continuing, just need to process their story before adding in another couple. Definitely a re-read at some point.

    This book, OMG! I loved Lane and Walker. I loved how easy they fell in love. I am sure that Lane and Walker are my absolute favorite so far! But my goodness, did I cry with this book. I cried, smiled, and then cried some more. I love angsty books, I love fluff almost as much. But I love the ones that rip your heart out and stomp all over it before handing it back to you. This one, because of what both Lane and Walker went through, pretty much did that to me. And I loved every minute of it. And add in the fact that Lane has the same illness as I do, that was just kind of awesome to see in a book you are reading!

    Walkers Verhalten fand ich fast das ganze Buch über furchtbar und kann nicht verstehen, warum Lane ihn so sehr liebt.
    Es gab aber einige Stellen, die toll waren und die ich mir markiert habe, weil ich die Wortwahl der Autorin so besonders gut fand.
