Broken Knight
Audible Audiobook
– Unabridged
Not all love stories are written the same way. Ours had torn chapters, missing paragraphs, and a bittersweet ending.
Luna Rexroth is everyone’s favorite wallflower.
Sweet.
Caring.
Charitable.
Quiet.
Fake.
Underneath the meek, tomboy exterior everyone loves (yet pities) is a girl who knows exactly what, and who, she wants - namely, the boy from the tree house who taught her how to curse in sign language.
Who taught her how to laugh.
To live.
To love.
Knight Cole is everyone’s favorite football hero.
Gorgeous.
Athletic.
Rugged.
Popular.
Liar.
This daredevil hell-raiser could knock you up with his gaze alone, but he only has eyes for the girl across the street: Luna.
But Luna is not who she used to be. She doesn’t need his protection anymore.
When life throws a curveball at All Saints’ golden boy, he’s forced to realize not all knights are heroes.
Sometimes, the greatest love stories flourish in tragedy.

- Reviewed in the United States on July 14, 2025So far. I’ve been very vocal about the series that introduced the parents of these high school kids. I loved Vicious and Em. I also loved Jaime and Mel. Dean and Rosie’s book along with Trent and Edie’s book were huge disappointments for me. They were both amazingly immature and selfish.
Because of my feelings about those two books ( I never even bothered to read the fourth ) I was trepidatious about reading these books.
I’m too old to read books about high schoolers… but the two books I’ve read so far have so much more emotional maturity than their parents series ( as adults ) that this series so far has been very very good. This book especially was hard to put down. The pain the oozes from Knight’s soul is palpable to the point of being hard to read at times.
I’ve had to remember that these are kids so some of the angst between he and Luna can get to be too much but this book has great secondary characters and a good plot.
SPOILER ALERT …
One of the things I thought was very well written was Knight’s pain over Luna having had sex and not saving herself for him. Luna has some understandable reasons but what I thought was so great was showing this “cheating” in Knight’s mind from the guy’s perspective. Unfortunately many women can feel his pain but watching how he deals with his deep sense of betrayal is to realize that women aren’t the only gender that deals with this issue and men can be equally as scarred. I thought making this point from the guy’s perspective was really well done.
Again, for us older people, even though these books are about high schoolers their perspectives on life, it’s hardship and joys, is wise and more emotionally mature than many adult books I’ve read. I highly recommend this book!!

It's not often I fall in love with a series. Oh, how I fell into this one! It's like a chaotic storm. Unexpected. Unpredictable. Electrifying. Tumultuous. It varies in intensity with the calm cascading into a beautiful frenzy.
I've experienced a wide range of emotions throughout this series. Having started out the series not quite sure if I even wanted to keep going with it to almost having completed it, knowing I will need to take this journey all over again. Like I said, "tumultuous." I'm confounded by how this series slowly, but most assuredly crept into my reader's soul. It's about as close to the top as it can get for me, running nearly neck to neck with Ashely Jade's Royal Hearts Academy. That has long been my favorite series due to the emotional attachment I developed with the characters. Now, I'm wondering if the Sinners of Saint and All Saints series have edged it out? Have these snuck in and stolen the spotlight?
Knight & Luna... Too say I was engaged in their story from beginning to end would be an understatement. I was enraptured. To have to set their romance aside, however briefly, in order to attend to real life was torture. Every moment away from it was a prickly thorn in my side.
Typically, an author will lose me as a reader when they start to deleve into unrealistic territory brought on by the extravagance of wealth and the excessive behaviors of the wealthy. Not in this case, though. Something about it just worked for me, and even when I found it bordering on intolerable with the ostentatious exploits, I remained grounded, wrapped up in the emotions it was provoking. I wanted to stay cocooned in the bubble of pure bliss the characters had we wrapped up in.
My only advice for beginning this adventure is to start from the top. I initially made the mistake of starting with Pretty Reckless only to end up dnf'ing. I didn't have the background of the Sinners of Saint to build off of. Obviously, that changed when I decided to give Vicious a chance, and look at me now, lol. I'm a complete gonner for every page, every word, every story.

- Reviewed in the United States on December 4, 2024This was such a tough read. Don’t get me wrong, it was good. But it’s completely draining emotionally.
I think if you read this as a standalone, it’s not AS heart wrenching. But, if you read the parents series first, specifically Deans, this is just so hard to get through because of Rosie (knights mom). And I honestly think that kind of stole the book from Knight and Luna story and progress. But, overall it was good!

5.0 out of 5 stars The. Best. Book. I. Have. Ever. Read.
I truly wasn't prepared for this book. I believed I was, I though I was just about to read a book about a romance story between one of my favourite couples offspring and his best friend. Oh boy, I was so so wrong.
This book was so much more than a romance novel, so much more than just characters brought to life to entertain readers.
BK was a new perspective on life and it's meaning! It made me look at it with new eyes, and realize that we should not take anything for granted, not the tiniest bit. This book pulled so many emotions out of me, some I was unsure I had them in me in the first place. I am not one to shed a tear just because, but trust my words, I cried my eyes out with this story and felt the love the characters shared.
What I learned: Life is too short to be wasted. We do not know when, nor how we'll end up and even if we will get a second chance at it. So, do not waste time. If you want it, just go for it. Love it to the most. Consequences be damned, because we only leave once and we have to make the most of it!!
"What if tomorrow never comes?” I whispered. “Then, my darling boy, we’ll make the best of today"

5.0 out of 5 stars Ptiteaurel - The Lovely Teacher Addictions

5.0 out of 5 stars A must read
I lived this book.No idea how OK writes the angst ridden way of a teen without alienating the more 'nature's reader. So full of love, anxt, sorrow(I cried a few times) & devastation. Love wins handsdown. Love Knight so much & Luna. Wonderful book

5.0 out of 5 stars 5 Ride or Die Knight stars
This book took my emotion to next level
Ms Shen doesn’t disappoint on the Knight chapter and what a Knight he is even a broken one that’s make the beauty
And I knew I have to give this 5 stars when the author go out the mediocre story tale of putting the H as virgin no matter how self destroy he is through his jealousy of h
Further more as any other All saints story I love how tight their family goes and caring towards each other’s despite the tragedy - I cang coupe that Rosie Le-Blanc Cole gone as well , I should re Stoke my tears for year
But all of all this book not just some silly young love things , I love how daring and funny H character is with all his short letter to Santa lmao
This is a mus read book not only for summer but to cheer up yourself on any gloomy day to remind you to be greatful and bask in the glory each day you awake and the sun still shining to do better than yesterday

5.0 out of 5 stars what a story
I loved it! This had me hooked right away ... Fast paced and twisty ... This book was thoroughly captivating. I loved the characters, storyline...everything! This was so well-written, that it kept me wanting more. I am sure the angst between Knight and Luna would keep you on the edge of your seat' and make you devour the book from the very first page.
