    Jagger Cole has the best imagination and vision when writing these dark mafia romances. I love Noel Ransom at forty-two he’s seen it all and lived through even more. His life has become a challenge when someone has impersonated him and sold half his company's stocks to his arch enemy. Ella Ashford is his best friend Thomas’s daughter; one he’s vowed to keep her and her mother safe. She feels betrayed when he offers to marry her mother. Noel has to keep her safe, safe even from herself and her hatred for him. After her mother died seven years ago, he tried to keep her safe even from herself. Ella is out for revenge, he ruined her life, he keeps her imprisoned and now she’s free she can set her plan into action. Ella’s plan backfires and she finds herself having to work with Noel, revenge still burns deep and they’ll both get burned if they’re not careful. I love these two there may be an age difference, but the fierce intense hate quickly turns into intense sexual desire just as fast, a desire Ella tries to keep at bay while Noel continues to test her limits. A captivating story of two adversaries out to outdo the other, where does the truth lie in the many twists and turns you never know what’s coming next! The betrayals, loyalties are strained, and the lies will test their limits in this game of Kings and Villain’s has begun. I have voluntarily read and review the amazing story.

    This story was good, so good I immediately read the second and both only took me 3 days. The plot was the perfect pace, and it ended with a lot of questions which were answered throughout book 2. I love duets because they are the perfect length, especially when focusing on 2 MCs. The issue I had was with the grammar, both books are full of elementary errors and it drove me absolutely nuts. Usually I catch one or two in books, but this one was full of them as if no one proof read when editing??? I don't know but it took it down a star because some of the mistakes made the read a bit confusing at times. Overall though, I recommend. The spice is just perfect, the slow burn was great.

    This book was worth a read.... Noel and Ella were HOT!!!! The sexual tension coming off them was off the chart.... The hate/love they had going on was steamy.... Ella thinks Noel killed her mom in a fire.... So she wanted to get back at him by ruining he's business by taking his shares away from him. He found out it was her, and the only way he can get those shares back if he gets married and his wife had the same voting rights in his business, ao he forced Ella to married him, and that she would be voting, but things between them get heated.... I will be reading the next book because I need to know what happens.....

    I like this author but these past few books were frustrating, especially this one. Why is it that authors have to make sex into rape more or less. It dirties the water and takes away from what could be a fantastic read. The book was interesting and full of suspense. I was mad how it ended so abruptly and will read book two out of curiosity. My money is on Cora for doing the killing because it keeps talking about her drugs and weird behavior. Leave the poor taste of how sex is demonstrated and you have a five star book for the storyline.

    Jagger Cole has another win in her series of books of the kings and villains. I'm not going to repeat what everyone else has said. I do wish Ms Cole would learn another word besides thin. Everyone smiles thinly, says things thinly, and lets their mouths thin. On one page it was repeated three times. It was annoying enough that I had to remove a star. Hopefully, future books will take advantage of our diverse language.

    This was about Ella who s Mother was due to remarry Noel, when she died in a fire. Years later, due to repercussions of a revenge plot Ella had against Noel, he blackmailed her into being under his control.
    This was so good. The dominance Noel held over Ella was just all consuming for her. It was a very powerful and intense situation for her to be in a she fought against it but liked it secretly, so it was a constant inner battle for her.
    Most focusing on Ella and Noel, there was an intense stand off that took place. The toying that Noel took out on her really took my breath away. For a man to be like that.
    This was such a great first half of the duet I really can't wait for the next book.
    So well written in true Jagger Cole style, I highly recommend this book!!

And the final twist and cliffhanger… wasn’t what I could predict at any point. I’m glad to say, book 2 is available instantly to feed my hunger for what’s coming next for Noel and Ella.

    A great beginning to this duet Ella a beautiful young woman with a somewhat nightmare of a past from the age of 12 when she ended up in reform school now 21 she is seeking revenge against the man she believes responsible for the death of her mother and her own situation. Noel is twice her age and will do anything to save the empire he has built and that includes taking and seducing Ella but feelings start to come into it and they both become confused as another player Oliver Prince starts to entwine himself into their lives. We are left with a huge cliff hanger at the end can't wait to read the final part.
