Catching His Falling Star (Suburban Outcasts Book 2) Kindle Edition

4.6 out of 5 stars 291 ratings

ELLIOT

I’ve been watching the men in the family fall at the feet of their women one by one. Some men might be happy that they haven’t found their happily ever after yet, especially considering the way women throw themselves at rock stars, but not me. I’m itching for it, trying to be patient and keep my eyes and ears open.

That is until I turn a corner on the way to Banks Ink. to get a tattoo to commemorate the end of Suburban Outcasts’ third tour and see her. I know in an instant that she’s the woman I’m supposed to worship for the rest of my life. She’s all fire and quirks and I can’t take my eyes off her.

Falling for Quinn feels like the most natural thing I’ve ever done. I just hope that nothing stands in our way, but life isn’t simple and easy. Sometimes you must face the gauntlet to hold that happiness close.

QUINN

When you’re having one of those days, you never expect to be rescued when you never have been before. I wasn’t expecting Elliot, how could I have been? It’s not every day that a rock star swoops in from the sidelines and shows you just how special you are. If I had been a little braver in facing my sister’s ridiculous party, I might have missed him. I’m so glad that I didn’t.

I finally found a place where I belong and a man’s arms to wrap around me and hold me close. I can only hope that there aren’t too many bumps in the road to our future.

**18+. If you like alpha heroes and an insta-love story that is sweet but isn’t necessarily simple, then this is for you. This story is safe, no cheating, guaranteed HEA. It is a standalone and the second in the Suburban Outcasts series, but it would be more enjoyable if you’re caught up with this Denver family. Warning: This story does contain casual cannabis use, but not to worry, they live in a legalized state and are responsible members of society.**

Ember Davis loves alpha heroes with a range of emotions, but a strong sense of how to take care of their women. She loves her heroines from all walks of life, just like her heroes, and she wants them to be real and relatable. Her heroines tend to be sassy, opinionated and smart.

Ember is a stay at home mom of two who recently refound her love of books and all things romance and is so glad that she did. She’s always been creative, but writing and creating stories that she would love to read satisfies the dreams she had as a little girl. She loves butterflies, the color purple and enjoying time with her family.

Pssst…it’s totally a pen name, but everything above is 100% true.

The significance of how each individual person has their own unique smell has been so important in every one of these books and I love it.

I love everything about Elliott and Quinn’s story. From their first meeting, to their first date, to their whole relationship. They are so stinking cute and sweet. Elliott is definitely one of the cavemen. It’s like an instant change once these guys meet their soulmate.

So good! I can’t get enough of this family!!!

The members of Suburban Outcast are so swoon worthy and it doesn’t change as they find their other half. This is Elliott’s story and his was ready to find forever when he comes upon Quinn. Their chance meeting was written in the stars and their story was so sweet, steamy and so heart warming. Some drama and a whole lot of delicious heat level makes this newest addition to an already addicting series a must read. I can’t wait for the rest of the members HEA.

Suburban Outcasts are part of the Banks Inc series. I recommend reading them in the order listed in the back of the books which intermingles the series so you know who all the characters are as it makes each book more enjoyable.

I'm loving Suburban Outcasts (SO), Banks Ink., Banks Two., and Higgins Security family members. They love and support each other no matter what. It almost seems like a fairy tale, but the problems and situations these people face are real. A person could do worse than have them as backup when things get all twisted. And it's exciting to experience the expansion of the family through new loves/wives and adorable babies. Up next for me, Book 3, Finding His Shooting Star featuring Booker (SO's lead guitarist) and Anna.

The story was pretty good, but some things bothered me. There were editing mistakes. Every book this author writes repeatedly says "pop the p" or "popped the p". Good lord, it's annoying. So many times in every book. Why? And they lost me at having a no kids wedding so they can have adult fun. That's not what weddings are for. Weddings should be family events and families include children. Have the adult fun at the bachelor party, not the wedding.

Quinn is such a breath of fresh air. I love her style, her heart, and her sass. Elliot loves and appreciates her for who she is and will do whatever it takes to make her smile.
This is a sweet story of finding your soulmate and following your heart.
