Plagues of the Seven Angels: A Cairo Sloane Adventure Kindle Edition
A terrifying Nazi secret…
A map worth more than human life…
Plagues of the Seven Angels is the first novel in a brand-new series of high-octane adventures starring Joe Hawke's old flame and ECHO teammate Scarlet “Cairo” Sloane.
When Cairo’s brother is snatched off the streets of Berlin it triggers a fast-paced hunt to locate an old Nazi map and discover the final resting place of the Staff of Moses. With her brother’s life hanging in the balance, Cairo must decipher devilish clues and battle a ruthless foe if she is to locate one of the oldest treasures on earth and save him.
From English country mansions to Washington DC, from the canals of Venice to the slums of Kiev and beyond, this Joe Hawke-style adventure delivers a non-stop, rip-roaring chase as Cairo and her team step up to the fight of their lives. Working together, they soon realize they’re in a deadly race to find a far more notorious treasure, and along the way they discover an even more horrifying Nazi secret that threatens the lives of millions of people.

- Reviewed in the United States on July 16, 2018I always felt Scarlet 'Cairo' Sloane deserved her own series and Rob Jones has really set the pace with her first adventure without ECHO.
But she's not alone as she puts together her own team of interesting and engaging characters along the way. Some volunteer, others just get swept up in the mayhem that seems to follow her every step in the desperate hunt for the encoded Nazi map.
Again Rob Jones delivers a high-octane, action packed adventure in the style of the much loved Joe Hawke series.
Bring on Cairo Sloane Book 2!

- Reviewed in the United States on September 25, 2018I started reading this book and felt I was going to really enjoy it. After a few pages, I stopped because of constant foul language. Foul language adds absolutely nothing to a story line

4.0 out of 5 stars Scarlet pulls no punches and kicks butt
Good first solo outing for Scarlet Sloane. I liked the characters in the team that Rob gave her. The pace of the story carries you along and is engaging. Scarlet/Cairo is a great character, much akin to David Leadbeater's Alicia Myles and I'm sure she's plenty strong enough to carry her own series. This is well worth a read so grab yourself a copy.
