About the author

Julianna Marley is fairly certain that she was born on the wrong side of the Mason-Dixon line and is in constant search of warmth, water and sunshine.
When not writing about all the places she yearns to be, she can be found cheering on her favorite football teams, taking long, romantic strolls down the aisles of Target and getting bossed around by a sweet and sassy five year-old.
Julianna lives life with an exclamation point and she wouldn't have it any other way!

- Reviewed in the United States on December 13, 2016I want to thank Julianna for this wonderful christmas novella. My favorite part of books are the epilogues. And this is wonderful extended story to Hail Mary. This is Shay and Whitney's first christmas together. I love Whitney's interaction with all the Cunningham's especially Shay's mom Fiona. Totally recommend Julianna's books Hail Mary and False start especially if you love sexy sports romances. Julianna's stories are very character driven and enchanting all these books totally sweep you away. I really hope Shay and Whitney's wedding is part of the next book from Julianna.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 15, 2018A perfect holiday read filled with family and love. When it comes to Shay and Whitney you can't help but to love them. I simply love the Cunningham clan. This family is so full of life and love. You are in for a treat with this one. As long as you read Hail Mary first you will be all caught up on everything. I adore Julianna Marley and her way with words
- Reviewed in the United States on December 13, 2016Shay and Whitney are the perfect couple. They were definitely meant for each other. Whitney certainly fit in right away with Shay's huge family and their acceptance of her and Quinn is awesome. This was a great short Christmas story and I recommend it if you like feel good stories because this is a good one.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 13, 2016Christmas with the Cunningham's is the sweetest story and Julianna Marley has a winner with this holiday treat! Families can surely test one another but in the end it's everything!
- Reviewed in the United States on December 13, 2016Christmas with the Cunninghams is the prefect Christmas novella. I absolutely love the Cunningham family and loved the little visit we get with this short sweet and sexy story!
- Reviewed in the United States on December 13, 2016"Christmas with the Cunninghams" is a lovely Christmas novella in The Mavericks series. This novella picks up almost immediately where Julianna Marley's "Hail Mary" novel ends. Shay just has asked Whitney to marry him and started the process to adopt baby Quinn. Shay, Whitney and Quinn have returned to his parent's house for another huge Cunningham Family holiday celebration. It's a full house. All of the Cunningham boys, their wives, Shay's nieces and nephews, and parents are all in attendance. As usual the children are running amok, Erin is pregnant and scary angry, and Shay keeps trying to sneak Quinn more cookies than Whitney allows. Shay and his brother are making strides in mending their relationship.
Whitney's Southern manners have Shay contributing to a "no cussin'" jar in order to clean up his language. This kind of hinders Shay's ability to freely communicate with his foul mouthed family in their "native tongue". It also results in an impromptu spewing of expletives by Shay. Whitney's vocal enthusiasm also causes them to have to be creative as to where they can have sex. Especially since Whitney also thinks it's rude to have sex under Shay's parents' roof. Shay has a hysterical Elf On The Shelf phobia which manifests in a fabulous paranoia. There is also an wonderful nod to "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation". This novella is not meaty, nor does it have any conflict. It is a lovely, fun and sentimental picture of an ideal family Christmas. A truly quaint story.
I'm giving "Christmas with the Cunninghams" 3 Lightning Bolts and a Small Craft Advisory.
This novella was provided to me. Voluntarily read and reviewed without bias.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 17, 2016This is my first book by her and I will be reading more. I will probably go back and read ones that are connected to the Cunningham's because I enjoyed this family in the short time I had with this book.

4.0 out of 5 stars A Wonderful Family Christmas!!!
It was wonderful to catch up with Shay and Whitney with baby Quinn. It was a lovely Christmas story, which they go to spend with Shay’s large and lively family chaos. This is a Mavericks Novella, but concentrated on whole Cunningham Clan, which was set in West Virginia with plenty of snow surrounding them, adding to the atmosphere.
This was a perfect holiday read, romance, love, loads of food and alcohol to keep warm and happy and a large happy family. What more is there? Read it and find out.
I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
