He came out as transgender in 2017 and has been fabulous since. He loves Jane Austen, Douglas Adams, bad action movies, stand-up comedy, and pale ale. When not hiding in the studio doing graphics, he can be found trolling cafés in Gothenburg, writing, and people-watching.

    This story is beautifully written. Yes, it focuses on sex, but not without also leading into MORE. The scenes between Michael and Vincent all have such purpose, all gradually helping the characters evolve.

    I thoroughly enjoy books like this that can say so much without having to delve into overly complicated backstories or dwell on angst too long. This author does a fantastic job sticking to the story he wants to tell and creating an easy, enjoyable read that doesn't lack emotion or sacrifice believable character arcs.

    This book is mostly a lot of moderately aggressive sex wrapped in a ridiculous story. The sex is okay, but it seems like it is never ever going to stop. And I frankly don't believe that any 40-something man is ever going to be able to have that much sex. No wonder he ends up in the hospital. Very very fast read (I swear it took me only about 3 hours). Did I mention that there was a lot of sex? Yeah, that about sums it up.

    Warning: You have to be receptive to older-younger relationships and mild (and sometimes wild) BDSM to get through this one. Even though I am very receptive to both genres this one is simply so over the top that I had to take breaks here and there to catch my breath read some more conventional stuff before returning to the adventures of Michael and Vincent.

    This is a coupling that is not unique in MM romance--hunky, somewhat older, bodyguard and younger, flirty and extremely unstable client who somehow manage to discard the professional boundaries of such a relationship and get down and dirty.

    Very dirty.

    That client Michael is desperate for a daddy figure and bodyguard Vincent is extremely reluctant to even give Michael a second glance does not quite prepare us for what is the linchpin of the story. That would be how Vincent completely abandons his hands-off routine in a torrid moment that leads to virtually every chapter being drenched in steam and some other wet things.

    The plot that brings them together is virtually swept aside for most of the book and we get a quick, somewhat unexplained, resolution. In truth it wasn't really the focus of anything other than how long it would take to be solved and where our Michael and Vincent would end up. That came as a surprise and was a very significant factor in me upping this from three to four stars.

    Roe Horvat writes beautifully. There is something about that possessive need one gets for another person and I was sold on Mikey and Vincent’s story. In many ways I just wished it was longer, that it had more angst, more pining. Just more.

Stuck in a cabin alone with Vincent he’s going stir crazy so he decides he’s going to seduce Vincent but he never thought it would get this far . This started off ok, an interesting story beginning to develop, someone is trying very hard to kill Michael and Vincent has been hired to protect him, and so off to the woods they go. Then all hell breaks loose, from now on the book is all sex, filth, and lust, it’ll make you squirm, it’ll make you blush. This author is good at doing just that! The story was good, the ending was good, I liked it but it was a wee bit too BDSM for me now and then, not enough to stop me from reading it, I just skimmed a little, I still enjoyed it.
