Celestial Spheres: Part Two: Can I Fly Kindle Edition

3.9 out of 5 stars 9 ratings

Short Story.

A boy with fantastic ability is desperate to showcase himself, but will pride come before a fall?

His simple trial to display an adolescent's grasp of the all powerful Potency should be straightforward. It isn't always.

The three species graced with god-like abilities have finally reached a tentative symbiosis after millennia of war and destruction – giving their respective worlds a peaceful order. The Potent take pride in their new found self restraint, which goes against their natural want for all.

Atmospheric, escapist, dark, mysterious, surreal science fiction/fantasy. Second part of a space opera series. (This part is ~3000 words).

"Walking is inefficient; I pity my human cousins for relying on it."
Second series installment was a closer look at one of the Celestial Spheres factions, The POTENT, and comes closer to the reader with a first-person narrative. In mind tests and games of power, things are rarely as they seem. Great payoff when you see how the stories connect.
Looking forward to details on the other factions in the future, the SCIENT and the PRESENT. What will happen when all three powers come together? Looking forward to part 3 :)
