    We were surprised to see so many U.S. breeders in 1 strain guide. The pictures are amazing and the strains are some of the newest on the market. You will not be able to find a better strain collection anywhere else. It also provided how many days in flower and average weight. A great reference for any breeder or anyone researching what strain to get.
    We also love that they are split into 2 different categories Sativa, and Indica. A great way to separate, and reference all the different strains. We see so many strain guides, but most have the same strains with different pictures. This one goes beyond the bar, and has strains that are new or just got released. If you have a pulse, and want to know what's out there NOW vs a decade ago, grab this book!

    The only downside to this book is that many of the strains might be unfamiliar and/or difficult to get your hands on locally.

    The author has a solid and thorough grasp of the subject, and he packs a lot of information into each chapters average of 3 paragraphs.

    Each strain is presented in it's own 2-page spread with a full-page photo of the live plant and a solid introduction to the strain, it's history and growth habits - as well as the occasional gardening tip. Each strains parental linegae, potency and breeder are given as well.

    Some strains have a wealth of info provided, well some act more as a general introduction. Don't expect a long winded smoke-review. Since I feel that the effect of cannabis is largely subjective - this is okay with me, but if you are looking for something to guide you through the nuances of each strain's subtle differences in effect - you might be better served by some hands-on research.

    Those looking for information about each strain medical uses should look elsewhere as this book does not cover this at all.
