Except two more strangers arrive, also refusing to leave. Tristan, determined to prove Jareth has powers, and Brielle, the girl who’s searching for family just like Jareth is. They believe he’s a Zodiac Heir.

And that he must join them to defeat a great evil.

    Capricorn Conjured
Tristan and Brielle have found the third Zodiac Guardian. Actually, he accidentally found them. Or...they all found each other? Something like that. Jareth moved back to the town he was adopted from when his parents are killed in a tragic house fire. He learns his unique artistic skills are more. beautiful than he ever imagined they could be. He finds himself - and his parent's murderer - with the help of the other Zodiac Guardians and a special someone. Infused with the love story that isn't a love story of Tristan and Brielle, the second book in the series introduces new characters in a moving way and maintains the storyline of the first book and prequel very well. The next book can't come out soon enough!
Leo Rising comes out February 1, 2021. You can bet I've already preordered it!
Plus the guy on the cover looks just like someone I know, so that's cool.

I say down to start this book telling myself I would read for a few minutes and the get back to work. Several hours later I am in the same spot, my daughter glaring at me accusatory because I hadn't cleared the space for her fort or started dinner and am instead trying to find the release date for the next book. I am failing very much in love with this series and characters. Honestly I don't normally enjoy when books jump through multiple points of view so quickly, however with this one it made a lot of sense and didn't leave me with a jarring feeling. Tristan and Brielle....sigh....I can't wait to see what lies in store for them! Veronica growth was fun to watch and pulling Jareth out of himself was amazing to read. I seriously can not wait to get my hands on the rest of this series!!

I'm so hooked. I'm loving this story. I can't say I liked Jareth's story more than Brielle and Tristans though. But loving the ending that that are all becoming family! Onto the next one because I can't stop!

The struggle against good verses evil continues in this second book, the characters grow immensely as they navigate the struggles of grief, romance and their mission to save the universe from an evil determined to destroy everything. The pace of the storyline was good revealing things at appropriate times but also felt a tad dragged out in some cases. More complications arise working against the Guardian Zodiacs, both supernatural and human and more exciting character introductions. I adore and appreciate all the different characters perspectives, it makes getting to know them more personable.
The newest character to enter the series is Jareth, who recently suffered a tremendous loss. As he attempts to cope with ghosts tormenting and following him with a determination to stay isolated he makes allies and begins creating a family along his self discovery path, he’s also a very stubborn character.
Veronica is also a new fun addition to the series, she’s full of spunk and sass with a strong outgoing fearless personality. The resilient daughter of an even resilient stubborn FBI agent whose obsession of proving aliens existence starts Veronica on her journey to joining an adventure of a lifetime.
Tristen struggles to balance his responsibilities and personal torment after the traumatic events that consumed his life altering his destiny forevermore. Tristen impatience and growing loneliness threatens to tear his newfound team and family apart before he’s gotten the chance to build it, thankfully as the story progresses Tristen begins to sort through it all becoming and admirable team leader and friend.
Brielle is basking in the glow of happiness at her amazing life circumstances yet feeling guilt for a friend and his painful loss. Brielle is growing steadily more confidence and sure of herself and her purpose in life which I admire and appreciate. Her unfailing loyalty and determination being the glue that’s keeping things from irrevocably falling apart before it even begins.
The romance in this book is innocently adorable, as one couple learn more about one another and navigating through betrayals and lies, the other couple is still struggling to figure out if their connection is worth the heartache it will definitely ensure in the future if they choose to accept their undeniable attraction.
The supporting characters are very interesting, some you don’t see their betrayal coming and others you wish would be able to connect and join the fight against good and evil knowing how valuable they could be. Those that support the Guardian Zodiac’s is always enjoyable to read about no matter how short their interactions are, the support is always sweet.

This was my first read in the Zodiac Guardians series, and I loved it. Jareth lives alone after losing his parents in an accident (or was it?) until Veronica explodes into his life. She is followed by Tristan and Brielle. But these three are not the ordinary teens they seem...and neither is Jareth. Secrets, danger, and death paint Jareth's world. Will he take his place as a Guardian? (Bye, I have to go and read the first book, now.)

I am loving these books. Imagine someone telling you that you are an alien prince or princess sent to Earth 17 years ago in a pod to keep you protected from a dangerous villain who has now found you. I might have a real problem with that. What these characters have to go through to prove it is very dangerous also. I would recommend these books to anyone who enjoys A little romance and a lot of adventure.
