Holy smokes, Mila almost set my kindle ablaze with this fast paced, rough and dirty romance. Reese is a brutally honest heroine that isn’t afraid to take matters into her own hands. I loved watching this young woman realize there is no shame in owning who she is and what she likes. Enzo is the type of man that doesn’t do second chances. He loves just as hard as he doles out punishments and vengeance. These two together is dark whirlwind of chaotic love and payback. I loved seeing Reese drive this man insane. Mila is gradually getting darker with each of her books in this series and I am loving it. The storyline in this one is fast paced but fit and the steam is surface of the sun hot. Once I started reading this I couldn’t put it down and devoured it one sitting. Definitely my favorite in this series of standalones so far and I can’t wait to dive into the next one.

    This is a quick read, but NOT a palate cleanser since it’s dark.

    Reese’s (20/21) parents aren’t nice people. Her mom’s a doormat and her dad is going to auction off her v to the highest bidder. Well, Reese isn’t gonna stand by and let that happen. So she goes to a smexx club and decides to find a man to give it to. They’re wearing masks, but a man claims her quickly- Enzo😉.

    Enzo had a traumatic childhood- he has the scars to prove it, but one thing’s for sure- when he’s all in- HE’S IN. As soon as he sees the beautiful cat woman, he wants her and no one else can have her. She confesses she wants to give up her v to someone and it has to be that night. When he doesn’t respond what away, she tells him she’ll find someone else, which is when he becomes extra OTT lol.

    Ah the steam. Oh this book has a LOOOOT of 🔥🥵💦. Not only does he have a duuuuuurty mouth 😅, but he’s all about pleasing his woman 😉.

    Yes, there’s a six month separation (she never told him her name), but they’re both very much into each other and never look for anyone else.

    I wish it had been longer. Also, I noticed grammar/continuity mistakes. Like, for example, in one scene, the H has his fingers in her v… then he takes his fingers out of her mouth to put them in her mouth 🤔. It should’ve been that he took them out of her v then put them in her mouth. I knew what was supposed to happen, but it still had me scratching my head.

    I enjoyed it still.

    Reese and Enzo are deliciously dirty. Both suffered from a dark childhood. Even though this book is a short read, 120 so pages, it is full of emotion. A captivating story of two lost souls finally found and at peace with their soul mate.

    On a weird note... For some reason as I was reading this story I kept seeing flashes of Megan Fox & Machine Gun Kelly... The real life version of Resse & Enzo LOL.

    Anyways, I can definitely see myself reading this story again. No cheating or ow/ om drama. Violence and childhood trauma are discussed. Mature audience 18+.
