    The intensity of their relationship is driving me crazy. I knew it was Marissa. Emma's life story is very close to mine. So it has brought back so many bad memories but I'm over it. I'm 75, and have been able to work things out in my head. Any who I can't wait to get started on book 3. Love this series so far. Usually reassessing book but decided on a change and it is wonderful.     I love the series. I did find it a little hard to get use to Emma’s behavior sometimes I read it as her acting immature verses the first book she seemed so mature and had a certain demeanor that was different from all the other girls. She had a strong head on her shoulders and this book I know she now more vulnerable but sometimes the way she acts makes me cringe lol but I do love the story and I will be purchasing the 3rd 🙂

    I found this series on AnyStories and after shamelessly spending a small fortune, decided to check Amazon and was thrilled to find physical copies. I haven’t been able to put it down. I finished the Jake and Emma books in about 3-4 days because I couldn’t stop myself. The books are written so well that you feel all the emotions with the characters. The book leaves you feeling emotionally connected as if you personally knew these people. I need a few days to recover from the absolute rollercoaster of events but I will definitely read this again and again.
