Cash: A Dark Reverse Harem Romance (Saint and Sinners Book 2) Kindle Edition

4.6 out of 5 stars 1,929 ratings

They ripped me from my safe, perfect world and bound me in chains.

Now it's Cash's turn. The cold, hard, analytical leader has a problem he needs me to solve, and he's not asking.

I’ve got problems of my own too. I’m falling for a man who refuses to love me, on top of fending off a threat determined to destroy me. Like I don’t have enough of that going on already.

As the search for Kieran ramps up, a few new players enter the scene. My boys will have me on the front lines. And Cash will have me bare, stripped, and vulnerable to his mercy.

The time will come when I have to make a choice: Right or wrong?

Love or money?

Me or Cash?

All I know is, one way or another, the war between us will end.

Cash is a dark contemporary why choose romance. This is book two of four in the series and features language, dark themes, and sexual scenes. If you're cool with that, dive in!

Action-packed... Like watching a movie.

Action-packed... Like watching a movie.
Action-packed angsty type of read. I was always on the edge of my seat. Waiting, trying to figure out what happens next. Lies and secrets is not good for any relationship. Add that to gangstas/gangs lifestyle and it's toxic times a thousand. Addy had me frustrated throughout this entire read. I knew her reasons but my heart is with the guys. I was definitely on their side. It was like watching a movie. I enjoyed very much. That ending had me wanting more soon.

This series completely blew me away. The details and secrecy along with the shocking twist at the end really surprised me. It all made sense and I'm surprised I didn't see it sooner.

If you read my review for Saint, you'd know I don't care for the way each book seems to only cater to one of the men. I still don't like that, but I did love learning Cash's backstory and why he wants the ledger so bad. I'm excited to learn about Brutal's sister in the next book. I'm not sure how there is 2 books left of plot left when they pretty much had the ledger in their fingertips. I know someone stole it after killing Kieran, aka La Roche, but is it really going to take two books to find this mysterious "journal".

Considering book 3 isn't even out yet, I'm not sure how long I can last until book 4 😫. I blew through the first two books in two days. This sequel definitely was just as good as the first book if not better because we finally are done with most of the secrets between her and her men.

This is a fun and intriguing series. I’m loving some of this a lot- having fun reading as they work through some of the cons. I’m a little frustrated with how much Adeline pushes against being honest even when Cash has proof. That gets very annoying. Her reasons for believing the ledger belongs to her are just odd and feel almost silly, but I am still very much enjoying this and will be jumping right into the next book.

I consumed this book in one sitting, it was that good. I’m cursing the three weeks I’ve got to wait until the next book comes out. Ignore the goofy looking covers for this series and buckle up. There are so many twists and turns, and what a fresh, novel concept to give us a book from each guys point of view instead of just chapters for each of them within one book. Allows for so much more character development. This series is so fun and I love how we get to see the evolution of the relationships and addy herself as they discover and merge the sides of themselves. You don’t want to miss this.

This series just keeps getting better and better. Adeline gets knocked down but gets right back up , taking care of business! She is a bad*ss that is in love with 4 gangsters. Can’t wait to read the next book

I was skeptical about continuing after the first book and I’m glad I did. The mystery kept me going. I do have to say this seems more an action book than romance book and I wasn’t expecting that and why it had me pondering to continue or not. I had this expectation of what it was going to be and I was wrong. But the story line is good! So keep reading if you find yourself asking if you should keep reading. Also there should be trigger warnings because there are some and they’re not mentioned to the audience. They include for this and first book: mention of SA and rape, child abuse/SA, sex trafficking.

I really liked the change in our main girl during this book. We see her slip fully into who she really is, and we see her go head to head with Cash, who she is trying to get to fall in love with her, and he’s trying to pry her secrets out of her, even we she swears she doesn’t have any. The plot definitely still has me hooked, not really knowing who is who, what the infamous Kieran has on everyone.

I will say I definitely still noticed the lack of details in what gets us from point A to point B in certain scenes. Such as, during a scene where there’s a shootout, there’s just little details that are missing in between one action to the next that can kind of make it a little confusing to follow along.

I’m also not sure how I feel about only getting one guys POV in each book. In the first book, it didn’t feel wrong to just have Saints POV because at the time he was the only one who was truly willing to start something with her. You could tell the others were interested, but they weren’t obsessed with her like Saint was, and since it was just the beginning of the relationships, it didn’t feel weird for her to be closer to one more than the other. Now, I’m this book, she’s already secured her relationship with Saint, and now she’s working on her relationship with Cash, and so on and so on in the next books. So, I get why Cash is the male POV in this book, BUT I still expected to see more of Saint during Addy’s POV than what we did. The others were all pretty much background noise. Again, I get why he was the main guy in this one, but I don’t want to feel like the others were just forgotten about. Like her slipping in to Cash’s room every night, or planning to give him BJs every morning for two weeks…. Girl I know you’re working on building your relationship with him, but don’t forget about the guy who first fell for you and wanted you there in the first place. It’s not enough to put me off from the book, it was just weird to go from one book where it was all about Saint with little snippets with the other guys, to the second book where it’s all about Cash and we only see Saint and the others a little. It felt out of place because Saint is so obsessed with her, and went from not keeping his hands off of her to her having all this free time to just focus on Cash.

And the wild ride continues!! I love that this entire book you get to dive into the mind of Cash! Even though you still get the others his POV is the main focus where Saint was in the first book. It gives you a chance to really see how each character ticks and focus on that how/why in a way that I haven’t experienced in other RH books/series. I’m also a tad wound up that I’m not the biggest fan of the female lead at the moment. I feel for her but at the same time I’m angry and frustrated with how she’s carrying out some of her plans with the guys. So far I trust this authors writing that I will come around by the end of the series. Fingers crossed! Also, kudos to the ending of this book. Keeping me on my toes seems to be the running theme here! 😆

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic 2nd book

Really enjoying this series of twists and turns between Adeline and her guys in a corrupt city.
At the end of book 1, we learnt that Adeline wasn't who she appeared to be, and in this book, we explore her relationship with the only one of her boys who suspects she is more than she seems. It was definitely a fun ride and the interactions between them caused much amusement.
I have a suspicion as to who caused all the damage at the end, which I don't want to voice as a possible spoiler.
As for the cliffhanger leading to the Brutal book, I'm really looking forward to what's going to happen next.

Cash is the second out of four books in the Sinners and Saint series by Ruby Vincent. Furthermore this book is a highly anticipated read! Once i started reading this book, i couldn‘t put it away. This is another masterpiece by Ruby Vincent!! After the jaw breaking cliffhanger i was looking forward to reading Cash. And Ruby didn‘t disappoint.
The story continues right after the cliffhanger. Now this book is also written in dual POV, but this time from Adeline‘s and Cash‘s POV. This book is adventurous, full of steam, action packed many twist and turns. I highly recommend reading this book!!!! We get to know more about Adeline and her past and the motives for her behavior. Cash/Killian is a completely different character than Saint but not less interesting. The push and pull and the banters between Adeline and Cash were amazing. I devoured this book.
By the end of this book i was speechless...while a lot of questions from the first book were answered but now i have a lot more than before.
And again we are left with an mind blowing cliffhanger.
I really can‘t wait to see what Ruby got next for us in Brutal.

I received and arc in exchange for an honest review.

This series is getting better and better, I love the focus on each of the guys, the growth in their characters and the development of Adeline now her secret is out.

I adore everything Ruby writes, but this may be her best yet, dark, fun and thoroughly entertaining. Start the series with Saint if you’re new to this one.
