- Reviewed in the United States on June 14, 2018This book really is a rip roaring adventure through space and time. Kyle is a down on his luck average Joe who stumbles into a 'local bar' that turns out to be local to just about every where. He is soon launched into the adventure of a lifetime across time and space and chasing down the greatest evil ever known. This story is a wild ride.

Review: I enjoyed the storyline, I thought it was creative and well thought out with solid backstory & history for the book's universe. What let the book down for me were the spelling & grammatical errors in my ebook version, hard to ignore so they became distracting from the story. There is a large cast of interesting characters but with undifferentiated dialogue, it was sometimes tricky to remember who was talking. Writing in the first person is always challenging as things can often get too chatty or you end up breaking the 4th wall but overall Ballard did a grand job.
