    Time travel isn’t done so easily as it sounds. Especially for Maya. She hasn’t figured out how it works for her. She thinks she’s figured out the why, but not the how.

    Glenn has put out the effort to straighten his life out. He has found a reason to to focus forward. Then things fall apart in a big way.

    Somehow I started reading book 2 before the first book, but that was okay since the author did a fantastic recap at the beginning of this book. The characters were likable and seemed genuine in their emotions; if this situation really did happen this is believable to me.
    I also wondered what happened to the private investigators and why they didn't come into the story with some added information to help our hero Glenn understand what Maya was telling him.
    The writing in this book was just okay, although I did enjoy the story itself.

    Once again M.S.Parker has done it. The story continues from book1 where Mia and Glenn meet up again and Glenn goes of his head because she came back 3 years later as though nothing has happened. After telling her friend Florence a story to try and make up the 3 years she once again meets Glen and it starts to get back to the way it was when Glen tells Miathat he is going to join the war Mia tells him how it works out and he dont believe her.     The second book in this time travel saga gets Maya back to Glenn. But time hasn't passed the same for the two of them. Luckily she has Florence and her husband to fall back on.
    I cannot wait for the third book in the Glenn Jackson Saga to come out in October. I just want to get to the end.
    So that I can read it all over again without interruption.

    The second installment of the Glenn Jackson Saga is a heart-breaker, so be prepared. The end of book one is repeated at the beginning, (a little more than I needed, to be honest,) so you won’t get lost or forget anything from the previous book, and I admit I was surprised by how Maya finds her way back to Glenn. This is the middle segment of the Saga, so there’s no resolution – don’t expect one. It’s emotional and in some parts, was hard for me to read because characters were so sad. There’s a lot of anger, so much hurt, and happy ending. You hope that it will happen, but not yet.

    I wondered why the private investigators Glenn hired in book one didn’t appear, and few other things nagged at me as well which I hope will be resolved in the next book. Miss Parker’s other time travel romance series was spectacularly good, so I’m willing to hang in to the end of this one, though it’s not quite impressing me as much.

    As I expected in my review of the last book, Maya is more likeable for me now, but I still like Glenn much, much more. Florence has blossomed to become a really wonderful character here as well. I’m very interested in the Civil Rights aspects that have surfaced, and hope that this will become a strong thread in the third and final book.

    I'll be honest, I struggled to give both of these books 4 starts. I didn't really want to go with 3, but I can't give 3.5 with Amazon's system. I felt "Chasing" is betting than the first installment, but I'm not feeling a 5 star rating, either. I adore Miss Parker's books and am very lucky to receive copies to review from time to time, but the "Temptation" series isn't totally doing it for me, as much as I love Glenn. There are plot holes that I can't understand people not mentioning - and I hope they're actually NOT holes, but somehow actually meant to be there and I'm not smart enough to see how it all goes to together yet. Maya was smarter, Florence was wonderful, and the Civil Rights history so interesting, it put the rating over the 3-star level for me.

    Oh my goodness me what a fantastic continuation to the story , Finding herself back in 2017 Maya finds she’s only been gone for a short while but something isn’t sitting quite right although her uncle assures her that it must be due to knocking her head when she got stuck in the secret room , Something is troubling her so she decides to do a bit of research on the past ,and learns that Florence did very well in the film business after she spent some time in rehab and had happily married had a family and only died a few years ago .Glenn unfortunately didn’t fare very well ,he sunk into deep depression after Maya disappeared from his bed after agreeing to marry him . He did everything in his power to find Maya and even employed private investigators to try and find her but as she was not born in the 1960’s it was impossibility . After falling into a deep pit of despair he finally went to his manager and said he wanted to get his life back . Peter arranged for him to hook up with the obnoxious Kimberly but as far as Glenn is concerned he’s only going through the motions just to put on a show that he’s changing his life around although Maya doesn’t know that fact yet After a tour around Florence’s house and learning that Glenn took her disappearance hard she feels that she should do something to help him and realises she must go back and sets about trying to find a way . Of course she manages to get back but what has only been three weeks in her time has been three years in Glenn’s time . Things don’t go according to plan when she returns after she tries to contact Glenn via his manager who tells her in no uncertain terms that’s she’s not welcome . Maya contacts the only other person she knows . Florence comes to her rescue and Maya is welcomed into her home she now shares with her husband Astor . After being back a while news of her arrival gets to Glenn and when they finally meet it doesn’t go very well but you know it’s only a matter of time before the inevitable happens again . Of course there is a big problem developing , Maya is pregnant with Glenn’s baby, Florence has guessed that Maya is pregnant and Maya is honest about where she’s come from & who’s the baby belongs to and how she happened to turn up in the 1960’s . For something so unbelievable Florence is surprisingly quite accepting of her explanation , however when she tries to explain to Glenn it’s not well received and he thinks she’s lost her mind . With another cliffhanger ending I honestly can’t see that there is going to be a happy ending ..... but I do hope there is . Bring on the book 3
