Cheeky Hipsters & Jocks (BFP: The Secrets Collection Book 2) Kindle Edition
Jack has a secret he’s kept hidden for years until a fellow hockey player discovers a scrap of silk and lace hiding in his pocket. Elijah notices how anxious Jack is as the hot-pink fabric makes its way around the locker room, and when Jack throws it in the trash like it means nothing, Elijah guesses what’s beneath his stoic façade and possibly his pants.
When Elijah shows up on Jack’s doorstep looking for answers, Jack won’t admit anything. But when Elijah takes matters into his own hands, Jack has to make a decision: share his secret and risk losing hockey or keep it hidden forever.

About the author

Posy Roberts started reading romance when she was young, sneaking peeks at adult books long before she should’ve. Textbooks eventually replaced the novels, and for years she existed without reading for fun. When she finally picked up a romance two decades later, it was like slipping on a soft hoodie . . . that didn’t quite fit like it used to. She wanted something more.
She wanted to read about men falling in love with each other. She wanted to explore beyond the happily ever after and see characters navigate the unpredictability of life. So Posy sat down at her keyboard to write the books she wanted to read.
Her stories have been USA Today’s Happily Ever After Must-Reads and Rainbow Award finalists. When she’s not writing, she’s spending time with her family and friends and doing anything possible to get out of grocery shopping and cooking.

- Reviewed in the United States on August 3, 2015I really enjoyed the first in this series, Top Me Maybe? by Jay Northcote, so I decided to try it. This was a very cute book, light and flirty and held my interest. There's something about a tough guy wearing bright, soft and sexy manties....maybe not an interest for everyone, but I definitely liked it and would recommend.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 8, 2015This was a light, sexy, and fun read. These are the reasons for the 5-star rating for this novella.
Secretly gay hockey-player has yet an even bigger secret: he wears lacy Manties under his business suit to work every day and the team captain loves it!

Jack has been hiding a secret for years that is until a fellow hockey player discovers something pink and lace in his packet. Now Elijah is noticing how nervous Jack in being as a pink lace garment is making the rounds in the locker-room. Elijah is thinking there is something going on due to Jack's reactions to the lace undies. Elijah needs answers and seeks Jack out and now Jack has to decide whether to keep hiding his secret or take a chance and see what happens.
This was a great short and very hot story but had sweet moments. I loved the intro to Manties aka panties for men and that a big sexy hockey player like Jack wears them, that was some sexy writing. Elijah seems straight to Jack but thank goodness for Jacks sake that's so not the case. I was laughing but yet sad for Jack as he had throw his favourite expensive sexy manties in the trash as that must have hurt big time. A fellow idiot hockey player found them and Jack couldn't let it out that they belonged to him especially in this testosterone filled locker room so in the trash they go.
Elijah see's what is going down in the locker room and he retrieves the manties from the trash. I cracked up at this scene-he takes a sniff of the manties and realizes a familiar scent and it all clicks in for him. Now with sexy undies in his hand, he heads to Jacks place. Jack now realizes that Elijah has his won fetish with manties but the difference is that he prefers the other guy to wear them and that is when Jack realizes that Elijah is not so straight.
This was a fun, hot and sexy short story filled with unique writing by Posy Roberts. The author takes you into the fetish of manties for gay men and she didn't make it cheesy at all but a true glimpse into this erotic fetish of what some men enjoy. It was a beautiful and fun read and I recommend Cheeky Hipsters and Jocks to everyone!!!

- Reviewed in the United States on July 24, 2015It was a deliciously quick appetizer, I'd like to get a main course. If you want an emotional stroll down a block of two hot guys this is a good one.
- Reviewed in the United States on July 11, 2015There's nothing particularly wrong with this one - it's a perfectly serviceable short story - but I didn't find it sexy enough to be PWP, and I didn't find it hit enough (any?) genuine emotional notes to be considered sweet and flufftastic.
- Reviewed in the United States on June 12, 2015This is the second book in The Secrets Collection, with a brand new story, where we can find the essence of Posy Roberts.
Jack is a very successful and talented professional who, in his spare time, likes to play hockey with a group of friends, but he has a secret. Under his clothes, he likes to wear women’s underwear. More than a little habit, it is something like a security blanket for him that makes him feel at peace with himself.
It’s a secret that he has always been very careful to hide, especially with his fellow hockey players, but one day, not thinking, he comes to training with pink panties.
He panicked, scared to be found out, so he lied. He says that they were from one of his sexual conquests and before leaving the locker room, reluctantly, he throws them away.
But not all of the players believed Jack’s excuse.
Elijah, the team’s captain, understands that there is something underneath, so he retrieves the panties and brings them to Jack’s house. Cornered, Jack has nothing else to do but to confess, but the reaction of Eli is not at all what he expected.
Despite being a short story and the narrative space is limited, the story does not suffer. It’s a complete story that quickly draws in the reader.
Of course, I admit that at the end, I am hoping there will be more, not because something was missing, but because the stories of Posy Roberts are addictive and I hope that they will never end.
The characters are well constructed and perfectly credible, the interaction is natural and realistic.
A sweet story with some very romantic moments that are also smoking hot.
It takes an enormous talent to satisfy the reader in a few pages and Posy Roberts is definitely talented.

Jack had always been into manties, lace and kinky wear. But getting a guy to accept that part of him is difficult. So..when Jack's hot pink panties get discovered in his hockey locker room, Jack is terrified his mates will discover this secret! He tries to play it off and escapes the scene, but Eli, his team captain sees through Jack's panic and is really interested in the kinky guy.
