- Reviewed in the United States on December 8, 2022Format: KindleVerified PurchasePolly and Molly are cherries whose stems are attached. They have very different personalities which cause problems for these best friends. One day it is time for them to be the cherry on top, but can they be the cherry on top if they are attached?
I enjoyed this little story. It is about working with differences and how they can enhance our lives. Polly and Molly learn an important lesson.
The illustrations are adorable. You and you toddler will adore this story with its bright and colorful pictures.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 11, 2019Format: KindleVerified PurchaseThis is a great book about two cherries who are joined together. They are different than others and they are different than each other. It shows in a fun way how to treat people that are different than you.
Molly and Polly were attached since they were blossoms in the tree. They were two very different people. Molly was outgoing and Polly liked to be proper. They both dreamed of being the next cherry on top. Molly wanted to make the perfect dessert and Molly wanted to be the star. They wanted to be apart. Would it make them happy? You get to do the best thing with no running involved, listening/reading. Yipee
- Reviewed in the United States on June 29, 2022Format: KindleVerified PurchaseWhat a wonderful story with an important message: to honour and respect each other's differences. I love the word play in this book, and I would have to say the illustrations really give the story a whole extra dimension! I absolutely LOVE the cherry with a moustache! I kept flipping back to look at him again!
- Reviewed in the United States on August 17, 2020Format: KindleVerified PurchaseI enjoyed this sweet book about 2 cherries joined since birth. A great story about learning to love time together and apart. Just wish the art was a tad more appealing/endearing.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 14, 2020Format: KindleVerified PurchaseA very cute and important book about 2 friends who are so close they’re attached — until their interests begin to separate them. It’s an interesting book to understand how sometimes it’s not easy to navigate problems in relationships. The message we took away is that it’s always important to be true to one’s own dreams, and not to worry about growing apart from dear friends, bc there will still be plenty of space left for friendships with people whose dreams are completely different.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 30, 2020Format: KindleVerified PurchaseTwo cherries were attached at the top of their stems and were feeling that they could not do what they wanted to do because they wanted different things.
But when they finally were separated, they did not like being alone.
So the moral of the story is do not wish for something if you don’t know what the end result will be.
Molly and Polly were able to get back together and they were happy.
- Reviewed in the United States on July 20, 2020Format: KindleVerified PurchaseMy kid liked it. There’s a wondering if they are sisters once we reached the end of the story. Cute and fun story :)😳🤯

5.0 out of 5 stars Sweet story with adorable illustrations
Format: KindleVerified PurchaseA sweet story, with adorable illustrations. Two cherries, Molly and Polly, are joined at the stem. They have very different characters, and love doing different things, but when they make the big decision to separate themselves they find they both miss one big thing - each other! A lovely story celebrating differences, and showing how very different personalities can in fact complement one another. Also a good reminder that things we think we want aren’t always better.

5.0 out of 5 stars Cute, funny, and a great message!
Format: KindleVerified PurchaseExplores the idea that we need connection, but also have our own special requirements - things that make us who we are. This is a sweet story and reminds us not to take our friendships for granted or the needs we have. My daughter (8 years old) really liked it!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Loved it for my twin girls
