    There is so much to enjoy in this book which is part of the Makes My Heart Race series. From an opinionated cat to a man and woman who find their lives entangled in a very unexpected way, the entertainment just keeps coming. Keaton became an internet sensation but needs help quick or he will be returning to his ordinary life. When Ada is the woman chosen to conceivably keep him from losing his many sponsors, neither anticipated how many ways their bogus engagement would change their lives. I lost count on the number of times where I felt as though the situation taking place could really happen in real life, as Megan Wade has created a believable premise for CHISELED CHEST.

    Her job working at a PR agency lands Ada Kershaw in a very embarrassing set of circumstances. One of the clients at the firm, Keaton James, became known for his video of him and his cat surfing together, but his popularity is declining because of how something recently posted was misinterpreted. Now her boss wants Ada to pretend to be his fiancée so his followers will think better of him, and the money that she will receive makes her reluctantly agree. Since Keaton’s cat is also part of the deal, she just hopes all three can get along for months. Each of them is in for a big surprise.

    I really loved this story, as the humans all have interesting personalities while the cats are portrayed with their normal traits. Each scene flowed so well, and I could easily picture every reaction actually happening in someone’s life. The whole storyline for CHISELED CHEST is carried out in an enchanting way, and I laughed along with Ada and Keaton when a moment was amusing plus got a sense of their inner natures when unspoken beliefs are revealed. This couple is so engaging and their best friends are, too, and I found these individuals to be endearing regardless of what type of situation they were involved in. If you are in the mood for a humorous yet also frequently affecting romance with realistic developments, then CHISELED CHEST will bring you much gratification.

    I love this short story. As always Megan Wade pulls you right in from the start and she did not disappoint. Ada meets Keaton because her boss has made her meet him to bolster his influence with the fans that love to watch him and his cat Alexsi surf. They are going to pretend they are engaged and then after a month they will split up. The only problem is that Alexsi absolutely loves her and Keaton is smitten and asks her to really marry him . Alexsi doesn't like anyone. They do fall in love and live happily ever after. I highly recommend this book.
