Claimed by the Dragon: A Paranormal Romance (Dragon Valley Book 8) Kindle Edition

4.6 out of 5 stars 179 ratings

It’s animal magnetism, dude. What can I say? You’ve either got it or you don’t.

Olivia is nothing if not laser-focused, especially now that she’s on a mission. Absolutely nothing can distract her, least of all that annoyingly handsome and very cocky guy who’s on her heels the minute she sets out...

She’s certainly not interested in him and his unbelievably muscular torso. Not at all. Too bad that she’ll have to team up with him to achieve her goal…

Damien is a party animal who’s used to women drooling over him. It’s called animal magnetism, baby. The thrill of the hunt is what interests him, definitely not the ridiculous notion of soulmates. I mean, who needs soulmates?

But things change when Damien suddenly finds himself burning with a purpose he’s never felt before. And the only one who can help him on his mission is a green-eyed beauty. All he needs to do is win her over…

Piece of cake, really.

But why are his usual tactics, his legendary prowess with the ladies, not working on her?

Why does she stir feelings in his core that he didn’t know existed?

And why does his beast want to claim her and kiss her senseless before the night is over?

Dragon Valley is a paranormal romance series that consists of standalone stories that each have a satisfying HEA. The books are connected through the dragons that live in the valley. This story contains mature content and is intended for 18+ readers only.

I thought Kayka Wolf did a fabulous job writing about dragons. Kept me interested thru the whole story. Great characters. A male dragon, Damien, who was raised as a human and thinks he is Gods gift to women meets a female dragon, Olivia, who was raised as a dragon and does not put up with his crap. They are both looking for a tribe of water dragons. They have a healing charm which will cure his parents and and her mother is suppose to be living among them.

I’ve been waiting for Olivia’s book to come out and although I liked it and was happy Olivia got her HEA, I feel let down that the series seems to be over. I would still love to find out what happened to Quinn’s mom and get some resolution there as well as find out what happened between Francesca and William.
Olivia headed out to find her mom and found her mate, Damian along the way. If you’ve read the books prior to this one you know Olivia as the negative twin who always focuses on the worst case scenario. She has a really strong personality. Damian on the other hand was totally different and quite emotional. I would have liked a bit more backbone from him but his personality did balance Olivia out. They learned a lot from each other and I’m sure their future will be full of discovery.
I received an advance copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Excellent job! Spoiler alert! If you don't want to read about the book don't read any further lol. I love how Olivia went out in search for her mother and found the water dragons, but I just felt that you left too many loose strings. Owen was a survivor too but there was no mention of him or his family or even of him going down there to meet any of them to see if he would remember them. He was old enough to remember some things. What about Sara, Francesca would have known her in the valley in Colorado lol,it wasn't a big place, even if they lived in the outskirts on the north side of the valley her husband wanted had his eye on that land, that doesn't happen suddenly and dragons move and change at slower pace. She would have recognized Sara and I would hope for Quinn and her father's sake she finds her way back. That was the one big loose end you left in this series. I'm reading the spinoff series now. So far so good lol🤣🙏

This is Damien and Olivia's story . This one kind of threw me since Olivia is such a strong and determined woman and Damien is more emotional and human acting . But fate will not be denied but for sure their path is not smooth sailing for sure ! Well written and recommended !

    A Cool Twist Involving Dragons!!

To read about a Dragon, Damien, whose lives mostly in human form and doesnt really know his dragon was a cool twist. Then theres Olivia whose lived most of her life in Dragon form and not human form. They might clash but will learn from each other in the most strangest and comical ways, lol.

Both their pasts bring them together on a mission that involves choices their parents made years ago. You wont be able to stop reading till you know what happens. Sweet!!

I have voluntarily read and reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book. Reviewer for Nook Books and More Blog.

This was a long series, 8 books. Each though was different in most ways, different shifters different everything, which meant it didn't become too long. This one I particually liked, 2 strangers, one was always in human form, the other mainly dragon, both though looking for the same thing, a group of water dragons. She's hoping to find her mother, he's desperate to find a stolen heirloom before his parents wither away because it keeps them healthy. The resulting story after they meet up is excellent. Can't believe I've only recently discovered this author, as shifter books, particularly Dragon shifters, are one of my favourites. Am now waiting for the new series West Coast Water Dragons to complete, it's a sort of follow on to this one, though I'm thinking completely different
