    This may well be my favorite book thus far in this series. I really loved the pairing of Kit and Lionel. I also am loving the mystery and intrigue about what just is happening in the world and how it all can be stopped. Not sure what book the reviewer read who rated (on Goodreads) this as one star, but it certainly wasn't the same one I read. Must say that nothing pisses me off like a reviewer who rates something that low, yet doesn't bother to say why! Kudos to this author for writing that just gets better and better as he goes along!

    Lionel is a human that believes shifters exist but has never met one. He's on the hunt to prove they exist.
    Kit is a fox shifter surviving on his own after his pack was destroyed creating his distrust of humans.
    Fate can be fickle at times.
    You will love this story. Full of action and creatures that keep you reading til the end!
