    COCKY virgin Prince by Wendy Rathbone is a well written tale of lost lovers finding each other again. It is a quick read but highly entertaining. Night and Star were once best friends who loved each other at a young age where the full extent of that love was unrealized. They are separated and their hearts are broken but it takes almost a decade for them to reunite and discover that their love never died and is worth changing their path in life to hold onto. I definitely recommend this book.

    Having been introduced to Wendy Rathbone's writing style and voice through a Facebook group we're both in, I decided to make this my first foray into #cockygate (Google if you don't know the term.) and I'm glad I chose this fun, well-written novella. Rathbone has poetic turns-of-phrase I was pleased to find in her light-hearted contribution to the brouhaha. It's predictable, but so well-written that the predictability truly does not matter as we follow the flowering of stubborn rebellious and heartbroken Prince Night. The ending is satisfying and the entire novella a truly fun story. Give it a read. I'm glad I did.

    The writing was nicely done, and there were no errors. I just didn’t like the story. It wasn’t funny. The prince wasn’t the one that was cocky. The other guy was. And he thought about other people he’d had sex with waaaaay to much and how great he was in bed. I just couldn’t enjoy it because of that.
    A second chance romance. The prince and the sexpert, who left the prince when they were 12 so he could train as a sex servant, which in this era is a prestigious position. He only thought of himself and didn’t understand why the prince would be upset with him. Ummm couldn’t understand why someone that was in love with him would have a problem with him leaving and boning down with anyone he was told to. It was also a little unrealistic that the prince of 21 yrs old was still actually a virgin, but it is what it is.

    Cocky Virgin Prince is a tale of two young men, Star and Night, friends as children, then torn apart when Star is chosen to enter the Academy of Exalted Pleasure. Night is heartbroken and declared Star his archenemy. Night is a Prince and remains a virgin. His father is demanding he become a man. Star is chosen to be his guide in the Rite of Ecstasy. But Night is enraged when he finds Star in the Sacred Chamber of Exalted Pleasure. Sound intriguing? I really enjoyed this story and the steamy scenes were hot, hot, hot! I will be reading more from this author!
