    This is the first book I have read by this author. It has made me a fan I will be checking out other books of they are anything like Mason and Allison's not and steamy romance. I know I will be enjoying them.

    Take one hot fire fighter and one sweet and beautiful full figured woman. Plus the fact t that Mason saved Allison from a fire in her apartment building. Allison runs from Mason feeling that they cannot possibly work because Mason is not and Allison has a hard time believing anyone would want her when her own parents wanted nothing to do with her.

    Worth every minute of reading! 👍

    Mason knows this love is for real. His dad told him about instantly knowing his mom was the one. 40 years later and there is no reason for him to doubt the same thing has happened to him. Allison isn’t so sure. She is having trouble believing that kind, HOT fire fighter Mason can honestly be in love with her.

    Mason has no problem convincingly convincing Allison otherwise.

    Whew! Gotta love Mason loving on Allison.

    I enjoyed reading this story about Mason and Allison. They met when Mason, a firefighter, saved Allison from an apartment fire. He recognized immediately that she was his one. Mason hardly left her side from that point on, much to Allison's bewilderment. Allison didn't believe he was serious and resisted until she thought he'd been hurt responding to a fire. Then it was full steam ahead. This was an age gap and basically an insta-love romance. The story did have an epilogue but I wish it was further down the road, like showing them with kids or Allison pregnant. The epilogue just felt like another chapter, not like an epilogue at all, which was disappointing.

    I really loved this short little series from Hope Ford. This first installment was a total hit for me. Mason saves Allison from a fire and immediately falls in love with her.     First time author for me and if you like a safe story with only a little steam this is perfect.

    Alison is used to depending mostly on herself or her best friend Katie they have been inseparable for most of their lives. That is until their apartment is involved in a major fire and she is rescued by Mason. From the second their eyes meet there is a connection but even as he shows her she’s all he will ever want she still pushes him away. Can he really love her when all she has ever known is rejection even from her parents?

    Mason knows she is the one who will make his life complete but can see she’s been hurt by people in her past. He will show her the love she needs no matter what it takes.

    Mason was a good alpha make and Alison was cute heroine but their really wasn’t enough steam between them. The secondary characters played a big part and overall an enjoyable book.
