Praise for Condition Evolution:

"A new take on VR simulation books with a healthy dose of humour. Shaun is a zero to hero, it's easy to understand and even cheer for." -
JezCajiao, Bestselling LitRPG Author.

"Shaun is my absolute favorite LitRPG main character. He is loveable and relatable beyond any character I've read so far in the genre." -

I’m a full-time, British Indie Author publishing fantasy, sci-fi and post-apocalyptic novels within the LitRPG/GameLIT genre.

Born and bred in the North East of England I live with my wife, our four children. It’s a stone’s throw from the rugged coastline of the North Sea and a place full of history, from Pagan stone circles to Roman forts that feed the imagination. We have three dogs all outrageously different in size, from an old giant Newfy to a miniature Yorkie and some sort of mysterious hybrid in between.

My debut series Condition Evolution spans seven novels, crossing LitRPG genres from in-game fantasy to real world space opera, like a penguin goes from land to water.

My second series is a gritty, Litrpg Apocalypse series, The Cesmial Accords, bringing time-travel, superhuman powers and waves of vicious monsters to Earth in a battle for survival.

Then there is the Creation's Bane series. A portal fantasy series that pits an angry chef against a world full of demons and gods.

I like the character development. All of the characters chip in on decisions, so no alpha male and damsel in distress. Fun fight scenes, the humor is great. The oppression of the little guy and the fight for the marginalized to get their own back is uplifting in these times. Good light read despite the politics. Best book I’ve read in ages. His first book is great too!

If you enjoyed the first book, but aren’t sure if it’ll be worth your time to continue the series, don’t hesitate and get this book. It is a blast and improved many of the area that I didn’t enjoy about the first book. It has real stakes, more side characters, and the plot while still relatively straight actually has some surprises.

Sooo... I'm not gonna lie, I'm not a huge space fan, so I almost didn't read book two , but I'm so glad I did! The segway into the rest of story was great, and the non-stop action kept it very exciting! Looking forward to book 3!

Fairly standard fare for a space opera, but decently written and I can see several more books gathering strength before it is "save the earth" time. Only knock against it is how ,with fixable mental stats, both MCs keep wasting time, especially when it is out of character for one of them. It is somewhat understandable for the other MC, since a lot of the charm is his cluelessness.

So if Shawn isn't still in a video game this is just poorly written. There is no real sense of dramatic tension, no feeling that Shawn and company are in danger. The entire book is 'Big dumb Shawn does a big dumb thing, Ember says "Shawn you idiot!" , everyone laughs.'
The first book had a certain charm that this one lacks. I am not likely to read the next one. Tom out

This is a great follow-up to the first book in the series and takes the cast up into space. It gives me a Firefly feel and that's high praise! The author also introduces on of the most awesome secondary characters I ever read! What a fun read!

Another great and funny read the with cast of characters expanding nicely, what a fantastic character we have in Havok. This book takes place across space, with the crew encountering lots of mayhem at every turn along the way. It's not supposed to be the most sophisticated read you will ever have, it is supposed to be funny and light hearted, and it is, in spades. Quickly becoming a favorite.

While this story moves along at a good pace. It was predictable and at times seemed almost like a paint by numbers.
It is definitely readable however it seems that it could end up being a never ending series which could lose its way?
