Aleatha Romig is a New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and USA Today bestselling author who lives in Indiana, USA. She grew up in Mishawaka, graduated from Indiana University, and is currently living south of Indianapolis as well as part of the year in Bradenton, Florida, USA. Before she became a full-time author, she worked days as a dental hygienist and spent her nights writing.     Consequences box set has all five of the novels in the Consequences series. The story is vast and covers a lot of history of the family members and their actions that bring our two main characters together. Anthony Rawlings kidnaps Claire Nichols and "teaches" her that actions have consequences. Although the author hints at the brutality, thankfully we are spared the details of the earliest and most brutal teachings. Even without the details I loathed Anthony Rawlings, but because so many of the fans of this author encouraged me to keep reading I did. I am truly happy that I did. Don't get me wrong. At book three I was just barely thawing when it came to Tony, but by book five I could see why they love Tony.

    Claire isn't the only one who lives the Consequences. Tony also pays for his sins and puts a lot of work into bettering himself.

    There is a huge mystery to what actually happened behind the scenes of the times that sparked Tony's path to kidnapping Claire. As we focus on the journey of these two people to their HEA we uncover the answers of that complicated mystery. I really enjoyed this story and the characters and highly recommend this box set.

    Now that I'm through with the box set and missing the characters I'm reading the novel Ripples, the story of their youngest daughter and I plan to read the two books in Behind His Eyes Box Set by Aleatha Romig just to stay with the characters as long as I can!

    I know this was Aleatha's first book series however I actually read it last of all her books.
    I wasn't sure I would like it as much because I was under the understanding it was a dark series.
    I decided to give it a try because I'm a HUGE Aleatha Romig fan and I LOVE all her other books. I am so very thankful I did because I had NO IDEA what I was missing out on!
    This series was hands down one of my absolute favorite series!!
    Yes it started out darker at first but in true Aleatha fashion she takes you on a roller coaster of emotions with story line twists & turns and you wind up falling in love with the so-called bad guy!
    I NEVER thought I would find myself falling in love with Tony but somehow she makes it happen!
    Tony & Claire are a true inspiration when it comes to what love can overcome!
    I can honestly say I couldn't get enough of this couple and all their friends and family in these books!! If you haven't read this series you MUST!
    I promise you will NOT be disappointed!!
    I didn't think it was possible to be a bigger fan of Aleatha but once again I was proven wrong!
    I can't wait for more books to come from this AMAZING and talented author!!

    The series as a whole is great, all of the books are 4 stars. I really like and dislike how long each story is. I think that if you are one of those detailed people you will love these, if you are wanting to skip through a lot of the extra and just want a quick story this is not for you. This is long and like I said very detailed. You will be reading for a while so keep that in mind before buying.

    Because there is so much details, this is good and bad. I wanted to get to the point of each book and it just kept going like the energizer bunny. At the same time I wonder if it didn't have so much detail if I would be missing out and wondering. This is the love hate relationship I had the whole time reading. Its debatable. I honestly don't know what more readers could ask for other than different POV's. Everything is covered thoroughly.

    It goes from the past to the present constantly. I felt like it could be a written form of Law and Order. That's the best way to describe it for me. There's enough left out that makes it a mystery if you will. I enjoyed my time with Tony and Claire. I'm looking forward to the next book written from Tony's POV.

    I would recommend. Its not for everyone and should be only read by 18+.

    I wrote my first review on this book after I had read the first book as I had enjoyed it so much and now I have read the rest of the series I can honestly say that this is the best set of books I have written for a long long time.

    If you are looking for 50 Shades or anything like it then this is not the book for you, whoever if you are looking for a book that has you turning pages and has you willing 5pm to come round so you can start your commute then this is the book for you.

    It is not your basic love story, but it is a love story. There is sex and lots of it but it is in no way graphic, the wording is just right and fits in with the rest of the book. There were times when I wanted to cry and times when I wanted to put my hand in the book and stangle Anthony and Clair but most of all I loved the flow of the writing and the way the book does not leave you wondering what happens to them.

    If you are looking for a series then I would honestly say that this is the best one I have read so far, so much to say I am having issues with what to read next!

    These are a series of stories that are complex.There darkness would make the romance villain shivers.This is not a story for the faint of heart..So if you have certain triggers be carefully reading these books.When I started reading this book I find my self wondering if Anthony quest for revenge was justified.,because revenge its a dish serve cold.My heart goes out to Claire for all what she had to endure and still find it in her heart to forgive ,love and bore Anthony children I am als proud of Claire for the way she was able to find the strength to stick up to Anthony.I wanted to save Claire many times from the nightmares then I understand that it’s only Claire can save Claire. .     Claire lived a normal happy life until she woke up a prisoner to Anthony, although she was debt free, she had to pay that debt. Anthony was all about appearances being everything. Claire learnt that there was two sided to Anthony and she also learn that appearances were everything and they can be used against you.
    Claire grows stronger and starts digging in the past to find answers she isn’t being given. Claire thinks she knows how to play Tony’s game and by his rules, knowing that appearances have to be kept, although she learns they can be deceiving.
    Again, more truths start coming out, the people searching don’t realise how deep the truth goes through the well woven web, or who it will implicate. Although Tony appears to change, he continues to make decisions based on what he feels is right for everyone, although not everyone agrees that it’s right.
    While there are still answers and missing pieces, these are also answered as you get to see what happened from the other people involved. Amazing series that keeps you on the edge until the end, watching the game be played and not knowing who will make the final move.
