While they thoroughly dislike each other, they must work together to keep the ranch running smoothly. Kade’s desires for Ryan are sloping toward dangerous, and she’s had enough of the big cowboy getting in her space and not showing what he’s made of.     Kade went to the airport to pick up their new ranch hand. It would be good to have another single guy around. All his brothers had found their soul mates, gotten married and started having babies. And they were constantly razzing him about being the only one yet to find a wife. He didn't think his chances were very good considering the family ranch was out in the middle of nowhere. The closest town had one blinking light, a gas station convenience store, and not a whole lot else.

    Ryan worked harder than any man on her family ranch, putting in long hours and loving every minute of it. She's devastated when her father dies and her mother decides to sell. While Ryan could stay and work for her uncle, she figures she'd be better off elsewhere. So she answers an ad in the paper for a each hand and heads to Texas.

    Kade is astonished to discover the new hand is a woman. He comes close to refusing to take her home with him and when he does he gives her a hard time at every turn. Mainly because he's attracted to her and has a difficult time keeping his hands to himself. But Ryan proves herself capable time and time again and they soon begin to grow close. So how does Kade convince her he's interested not because he needs a wife to inherit his share of the ranch, but because he's fallen for her hook, line, and sinker?

    Love the Dalton boys. Was glad Kade finally got his happily ever after. Even though he and Ryan were both strong-willed and stubborn, determined to succeed, they were a perfect match for one another. Great read.

When nature strikes a deadly blow at the ranch, it takes team work and setting aside differences before two obstinate people can finally see eye-to-eye.

    This has been a great series, following the brothers and their romantic adventures to very satisfying conclusions.
