Chevy comes to the Boot Knocker Ranch to help her become immune to the type of romance tactics of her ex-boyfriends. She wants to teach herself to not fall for the same type of man who whoo's her and then dumps her once they've gotten into her pants. But, when she meets her boot knocker, Foster, she's doing the same thing as usual and falling for him. Foster is having a hard time figuring her out, but he is determined to do so. The only problem is he's falling for her, too. A lovely story of two people trying not fall in love. I was able to read this book with my Kindle Unlimited membership.

    Chevy and Foster...First there were the Texas Boot Knockers. Now there are the Montana Boot Knockers. As far as I'm concerned, the men are just as hot in Montana as they are in Texas. Chevy attracts the wrong for her type of men. Things are great for a few weeks and then, their true personalities become evident. Chevy decides to go to Boot Knockers to learn how to resist falling for wrong guy. Chevy is paired with the Candlelight Cowboy. He's gorgeous, smart and oh so sexy. Chevy is going to have to work hard to resist Foster.

    I have enjoyed reading several of Ms Petrova's Boot Knocker books and have always been treated to an unique story. I am looking forward to reading more of these series.

    I’ve followed this series and loved each of the books. This book introduces a new Boot Knockers location that has equal if not more heat than the previous books. Makes you fantasize about how you could survive that world, if only for a week, or four! Definitely melts the Kindle.

    The ranch has expanded to Montana. This is where we meet the new group of boot knockers, starting with Foster.. Foster is known for romancing the girls, and this is not what Chevy needs. Chevy is tired of dating guys that don't follow through. Watch her fight him every step of the way, while he falls for her strength. I liked all the new characters, and can't wait to read their stories. Hugh and Riggs, the originals, make a few appearances.

    I enjoyed Mrs. Petrova’s series The Book Knockers so I already had high expectations for this new series. I felt that Mrs. Petrova delivered and more!

    Chevy is a woman who wears her heart on her sleeve and has watched it get trampled on by one too many men. She is a romantic at heart but decides that she needs to stop that so her heart isn’t always in tatters. She decides that the way to do this is to practice on a man who is known for his wooing and not get tangled in his web and be the one to walk away. She decides that the Book Knockers ranch is where she is going to learn how to be tougher around men.

    Foster loves what he does and is good at it. He is called the Candlelight Cowboy and romance is his thing. He is the flower, wine, roses and bubble bath type of guy. He meets Chevy and his normal route gets turned on his head. He isn’t expecting her to make the first move and for him to want it so much. Foster is at a loss as to what to do with Chevy, her bio doesn’t fit the woman in front of him. She intrigues him like no other and is determined to find out what is going on.

    These two characters we both interesting as individual characters but when they were together they were sizzling. I enjoyed when they brought in Wyoming, that part was steamy!!!

    I can’t wait for the next book!
