Gracie & Noble~I've got to admit this book #10 was one of my favorites in the Dalton Boys Series. Gracie is disappointed in not being asked to use her degree as business manager of the Dalton Ranch in Prairie Valley. Not even as a ranch hand which she excels at and does a great job as well. So, she hears Blackburn Ranch is looking to hire some cowpokes, i. e. ranch hands. She decides to head there for the experience. Noble is doing the same thing. Sparks fly between the two. A great love story with a HEA is what you get. I loved this book and the cover is awesome I read this book with my KU membership

    This is a great one. We finally get a female Dalton! Gracie is a cousin and recently graduated with a degree in business management but she hates being chained to a desk. When four positions are offered at the Blackburn Ranch for cowpokes she is stoked and determined to win a position. Noble Watkins applies for the job too and hopes to be the third generation of his family working at the ranch. When they learn only two will be hired on after the summer the fight is on to prove themselves. Gracie and Noble clash at every turn. She is is a b to him most of the time lol, and he eggs it on. These two are explosive and this is steamy and emotional.

    I enjoyed this addition to the Dalton "Boys" series. It was refreshing to see the male fall faster than the female and he grabbed my heart in the first few pages. Gracie took a little longer, but she got there. It was fun watching them discover that they weren't adversaries. I liked watching each of their reactions to meeting with the big boss, whom I did not care for.
    The little mystery was fun and added to the story nicely. I also felt all of the characters to be genuine and true in their actions/reactions.

    The one thing I couldn't figure out about Gracie and the Dalton Ranch, I ended up with having to make an assumption.

    Gracie had her degree. She was strong, intelligent, and independent. I understood she felt the need to prove something to both herself and her family.

    Noble was in somewhat of the same situation. Both were top notch cow hands and the icing on the cake was they both really wanted the job on the Blackburn Ranch.

    It took a while for them to give into that sexual tension that was building. While it was building, I think Gracie beat Nobel on the scale of most irritating person.

    I thought the decision Gracie made when she was given the ultimatum was great. Noble was on the same page for a different reason.

    They had great chemistry. Their scenes were believably sexy and sweet. The interactions with the Dalton clan, although minimal in this book, were enjoyable. I also enjoyed all of the detail about ranching.

    Noble and Gracie, of course, ended up with their HEA. I still never understood, if Gracie really wanted the job on the Dalton ranch, why didn't she ask for it?

    Another great addition to the Dalton family series. Gracie and Noble make an awesome couple. The competition between them has you rooting for one and then the next moment you're rooting for the other. In the end you can root for both. Can't wait for the next book in the series. I would recommend this book and this series to any adult reader who loves some sexy cowboy heat!
