Crashing East (The Save Me Rockstar Series Book 4) Kindle Edition
He’s the bane of her existence.
She’s the latest thorn in his side.
Until angry sparks hint at a passionate blaze.
Personal Assistant Hadley Crawford was already against her boss’s decision to front a new band with a disgraced ex-rocker. Imagine her surprise when Viv’s new bandmate is also the arrogant jerk from upstairs. So what if he’s talented, hot, and captivating? People resist unhealthy attractions all the time.
What’s the step below rock bottom? That’s where Julian Campbell lives after the collapse of his former band and the death of his sister. A year later, things only get worse when his deadbeat brother-in-law drops off his niece and never comes back. The last thing he needs right now is his nightmare neighbor showing up to thwart his one chance at getting back on his feet.
But things get complicated when painful secrets turn a bitter rivalry into a risky attraction. What if the same fire driving them apart is the only thing strong enough to save them?

About the author

Aly is a writer, musician, and terrible cook. She loves cats, hates selfies, holds a blackbelt in Kyokushin karate, and watches every documentary she can find. Her books (and music) stretch genres and feature emotional, angsty themes with gripping storylines that bring all the feels. The only things she enjoys more than shredding hearts is stitching them back together and creating vivid, complex characters you can’t let go.
Her novels have been nominated for an RT Reviewer’s Choice award, received a number of Amazon category bestseller rankings, and have been praised by some of the leading authors in the romance industry. The care and compassion with which she handles difficult subjects like mental illness and suicide has also been recognized by mental health advocates and actively promoted by multiple survivors and organizations.
No matter the genre or trope, Aly’s goal is always the same: to write with earnest passion from her soul to yours.

- Reviewed in the United States on February 6, 2021This book was pure, epic perfection. I'm not sure I'll be able to convey just how good it is, but I'll try...
There is backstory from previous books in the series but not completely necessary. This absolutely can stand on it's own.
From the first word to the last the author draws you in to give the most realistic tale of family, hardship, relationships and romance...plenty of heat to go with the emotions.
I've never read a book that grabbed me so hard I found myself tearing up, closing my kindle to get my wet eyes under control only to open it and immediately dive back in. Several times.
This author doesn't just skim the hard and you get the gist of each situation. No. With a talent so few have, you are immersed, drowned in emotion with the perfect amount of words. Nothing is drawn out to aggravating proportion. You just get it. In one paragraph. In one scene. In one complete story.
There are several subplots to this book and they are handled with such raw perfection that you can't help but be absorbed in the beauty of them.
I would not be shocked to find the author was an actual part of or witness to much of what she wrote. If not, that makes this book even more astounding.
This book is not just 5 stars. It's beyond that rating.
To the author: Well done. So epically well done.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 23, 2021I expected Crashing East to be a wonderful read, considering every book in the series has been a superb read, I didn't expect it to be so emotional as well.
Julian and Naomi's story is inspiring, loving and overwhelming emotional.
Julian and Hadley's story is engaging, romantic and passionate.
I couldn't put Crashing East down and I think everyone should read this well written, well paced, simply fantastic read.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 31, 2021Uncle J. a/k/a Juilan was just amazing! His niece Naoimi was dropped at his doorstep by her Dad, who cared more for himself then his child.
Julian and Naoimi were two lost souls. He was reeling from the deceit of his past bandmates, and she was heartbroken over the loss of her Mom. It wasn't easy at first. But this amazingly written story showed the path that they both walked down to find their happiness.
Hadley was Julian's neighbor, and they did not like each other at all. Once given the chance to get to know each other, they realized they both had the same goal in mind, and that was to make Naoimi happy. Their journey was sweet and heartfelt. You felt the feelings they were having throughout this book.
Ms. Stiles makes you think you are going to read about one thing, but each of her books have been so much more then I could have expected. The depth of her characters and their issues has me turning the pages and waiting to see what it going to happen next. She is an extremely talented writer that makes you feel what she writes, and makes you want to reach into your kindle & hug this fictional characters.
She has easily become a one click author for me.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 24, 2021Crashing East is such a great story about Julian Campbell, a Rockstar that has fallen from grace. He has been thrown into a situation he was not ready for or expecting. Hadley is a great problem solver but can’t solve all of her own problems. Julian is one of Hadley’s problems to fix but they are like oil and water. Naomi has also been thrown into Julian’s life and has no say so about it at all. Luckily for Naomi, Hadley is there for her when she needs her the most. She is a very lucky l to have Hadley around. Turns out, they all are lucky to have each other!
I really enjoyed this story. Great writing, great series.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 11, 2021Crashing East is just wonderful. I love how Julian and Hadley have this tension at the beginning when they realize who each other are. Julian goes through a lot throughout this one. He is an amazing when it comes to his niece Naomi. Your heart will ache for Naomi and all the levels of emotions this young girl has to handle. But there is so much love between uncle and niece that will put a smile on your face. You meet Hadley in Breaking South. She is a fixer type and knows how to get things done. I love how gentle Hadley is with Naomi. Hadley has her own issues that you will find out about and I love how Julian helps her out. There is such passion between Hadley and Julian that will ignite the pages. In Crashing East you get so much more then you expect and I love Aly Stiles for that. I cannot wait to read more from the Save Me series.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 27, 2022This is the best of the series, but…. I guess I’ve said that for every one before this too, so…. Conclusion is: I love them all. The men in this series are to die for, and everything a woman could ever want, and Julian is no exception. I love the way he took on Hadley”s family, and was so protective of his niece Naomi. Aly Stiles is my new go to author, and I’m on a roll to read everything she’s ever written.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 26, 2021Ok, I’ve read them all & yes this is an awesome series. I wasn’t sure how much of an idjit Julian would be, but turns out he wasn’t really he just had stuff happening. Naomi stole the show though, her character was spot on. I liked the bit with the bear hug, that was so cute. Yeah, so excellent characters, totally liked the storyline & Hadley was a good balance to their crazy
- Reviewed in the United States on July 23, 2021I've read the whole series and this book was my favorite.
Aly is a new author to me and I discovered her from a Facebook group, read a few reviews, and took a chance. I couldn't put this series down, this book especially. I really enjoy her writing style. She pulls you in from the start, and she really develops her characters so that you totally relate to them.
She did Naomi so well you can feel her pain, her sorrow and her fear. Naomi stole the book for me. Have tissues handy!
This is an angsty romance, which angst really grates on my nerves. But this one was done so well, I cried.
This is a series, but can be read as standalone. No cliffhangers which are a must for me.
Take a chance on this series. You won't regret it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Redeemed
I didn't love the last book (I did like it though), but I LOVED Hadley and Julian (and Naomi).
This story was heart felt. Yes I cried in public on multiple occasions. And even though it was hard for the characters, it's not all they dwelled on.
Watching Julian and Naomi's relationship flourish made my heart happy. Was it a little bit predictable? Maybe butthats what made it good. It ended exactly how I hoped!

5.0 out of 5 stars Such an emotional story
I have loved all of the books in this series, and this is no exception.
It was fascinating seeing Hadley uncover the different aspects of Julian, and be so open to changing her opinion of him, based on his behaviour and not her preconceptions.
Julian was such a sweet man, and to see him open up to Naomi, and to Hadley, was heartwarming.
It was great to revisit the other characters as well, and to see the development of their band family.

5.0 out of 5 stars emotional and inspiring
A story about a washed up musician trying to find his way back and an orphan /abandoned girl just looking to be loved - and a beautiful assistant who is great at fixing things
Julian and Hadleys story is beautifully emotional. I enjoyed every minute . The story is a fairly quick read but worth it . It is book 4 in the series but could totally be read as a stand alone though reading the other books gives more back story and detail to the other characters . Loved it
