Well this is freaking great...
Right when my best friend's wedding was in full swing, the flowers were paid for, the dresses were being tailored and the bachelorette party was planned and nonrefundable, the bomb gets dropped right on my doorstep at four in the morning.
"The Wedding is OFF!" Mags yelled right as I opened the door to my apartment.

    These were the first books I read by this author and I really fell in love with her style of writing. The characters felt fresh and original, a very different type of story than anything I have read before. The first book, Crashing Back Down, is told from Mags' point of view. She is trying to heal from a tragedy that shook her foundation and relying on the people who love her - one of them being her husband's best friend, Walker. I loved that there were twists and turns along the way but when there was conflict it seemed that the characters handled it in a way that didn't feel drawn out or forced. I didn't want to put the book down because just when things would seem to be leveling off, there would be more unexpected turns, which I loved because it kept me guessing on what direction the story would go.

    When the first book ended, I was SO HAPPY to move right on to the second one, Falling Back Together. This time we get to see a few glimpses in to what Walker is going through and how he is dealing with things. It made me happy that the author wasn't afraid to write an alpha man that also had a sensitive side and a soft heart. He wore his heart on his sleeve and that just made me love him even more. These people definitely went through their share of ups and downs but always came through it stronger.

    The last book in the set, Crashing the Wedding, gave us Cali's story (Mags' best friend) - it was a short read and I loved getting to know Cali. This author definitely won me over and I can't wait to read more by her and get to know the Hysterics, the band you are introduced to in this series. Definitely give this one a read!

    When surviving life after a loved ones death when all you want to do is not even breathe but a true friend gives you air again!

    This is not a typical love story it is so much more with characters who are developed and so well written!

Your heart gets ripped apart and put back together beautifully. I love the tight net friendship of Mitch, Cali, Margaret and Walker. You can feel the love and the healing each goes through from beginning to the very end. The whole time I've rooted for these friends. Such a beautiful read.

    The story had no real beginning or end. It just meandered all over. The only consistency is that someone is always crying about something or someone.
    SPOILER ALERT: the main male character is a suicidal, woman-beating, brake tampering, tire iron wielding man who never faces the consequences of his actions. Sure he feels bad about it sometimes but his girlfriend stays with him through it all - because he cries. Bad guys aren’t supposed to win.
