Robert is a retired Canadian educator who still engages in offering life-couching sessions on a limited part-time basis. He is a member of the Canadian Authors Association and the Saskatchewan Writers' Guild. He has been publishing since the age of 18. He has published a book called Sagitawak: The Bicentennial History of Ile-a-la-Crosse (1977) for the Métis community of Ile-a-la-Crosse, as well as a number of short books in a series called Through a Jungian Lens. Added to his publishing record are a number of chapters in educational books, editorials in newspapers and journals, both online and in print.

Since retirement, his focus turned to a series of poetry books, a three-part autobiography, and his latest work, literary fiction which embodies characters and situations that strive to explore the human psyche in action in a contemporary world setting.

Robert is married with three adult children and seven grandchildren. He resides in Elrose, Saskatchewan, Canada.
