    I have read all of Amber Night’s work so far and I have to say she never disappoints. There’s a light prose that goes throughout her work that just makes each story wonderful to read.

    These short stories are perfectly done for this time of year. Some are sad, some are hopeful, but there all fun to read. I keep trying to pick a favorite and I am leaning towards the sandman’s story. What a fun little twist. However I enjoyed each story and hope you do as well. Cheers to another great work!

    I love anthologies and this short story collection certainly delivered. Short enough that I could get sucked in and still not stay up too late reading, this book is like an ice cream sundae on a warm summer day. If that sundae is being served by someone paranormal and also delicious. I loved it!

    I absolutely loved this collection, each story is so beautifully crafted. "Luciferase" I found particularly hypnotic, alluring and unnerving and I loved the part that the firefly played. I also really enjoyed all the different meetings in "After the War (Witch Remixed)", with the excitement, hope and giddiness of new love that each of those snippets captures. Looking forward to Amber Night's next publication!

    The perfect book to read before bed while having a hot bath with lots of candles, also the perfect gift for a loved one.
    I love this book so much because every line leaves enough space for individual and personal dreams, fantasies, thoughts and conclusions.
    Happy reading and don't forget to blow out the candles before the sandman appears!

    At first, I thought Creature Wisdoms would be a collection of cute stories featuring the less coveted monsters of the supernatural world. Something to stand out from all the werewolves and vampires out there. But once again Amber delivered much more than I expected. The shorts do turn those disregarded beasts into alluring characters, but there was a layer of depth added to the romance of it all.
    I suppose each story could be interpreted in several different ways. For me, the characters were an allegory for mental health issues: depression, addiction, anxiety, insomnia. The stuff of dreams turning into the stuff of nightmares, and back again. This book will stay with me far longer than it took me to read it

    Once again, Amber Night delivers exciting, full of nuances and steamy prose. Really amazing how she creates such depth in such short stories. They're all fantastic and so different! Best way to enjoy a cuppa during these gloomy evenings, and get the edge of the cold with these hot hot hot men.

    I really enjoyed this collection. It's a super quick read with lovely evocative prose and stories that make you think. My favourite was definitely Sandman. The ending to that came abruptly for me, which means I easily could have read so much more! These aren't what I call typical romance, maybe more romance adjacent in some ways - though definitely has a thread of romance throughout- but absolutely something you should check out, especially if you enjoy other-worldly stories of the strange and unknown.
