I absolutely adored this book! But this book is not meant for everyone. Please check trigger warnings. There is a trope in here most people do not like. This book is filled with suspense, emotion, love and laughter, what else could you want? I've never noticed a book where the woman has a fantasy of a masked intruder breaking into her home and raping her. I read a few pages and the story drew my interest. This book was on fire!     There is a trope in here most people do not like.
    With that being said I devoured this book. Allison keeps having fantasies about a masked man who breaks into her house and has his way with her. One day those fantasies become a reality.
    Blake is an escaped convict who just so happens to break into Allison’s house.
    Allison gets to live out her dreams but the consequences of their actions could land them both in jail. Will their love survive when they are tested?
    Blake is such a golden retriever I just adored him and how he’s a naturally good guy.
    Allison is feisty and I love that she has so much confidence and stands up for herself and starts boxing what she likes and what she wants.

    If you have fantasies of a mysterious, handsome, blue-eyed hunk of man fresh out of prison, then Blake is for you. This book holds a ton of spice but has a storyline to go along with it that ends up being a very sweet story.
    I enjoyed both Blake and Allison's story as they navigate through choosing between desire and selfishness or despare and selflessness. Over all a great read

    Allison was recently in a boring, vanilla long term relationship that ended in a not so boring, vanilla way. Go figure. But that unsatisfying relationship left her craving some variety and spice. Maybe some things that others would consider a little taboo. Left with fantasies, Allison is surprised when coming home one day to discover that sometimes fantasties can become reality when an escaped convict breaks into her house. Blake was in prison for a crime he didn't committ. He's a kind, sweet guy who really just wants a family and someone to call his own. How he ended up escaping prison and breaking into Allsions home, he just doesn't know and is still questioning what he was thinking. But the chemistry between them is undeniable and things get hot. Nothing too kinky here, just a girl who likes her man to take control and take some risks. While they navigate their growing feelings, Blake and Allison also struggle with future plans. Will they stay on the run and in hiding for the rest of their lives, or will Blake end up turning himself back in? Things get a little more complicated when Allison realizes that she's pregnant. Overall, cute, sweet story that ends happily. Quick read if you're looking for something not too heavy in terms of themes.

    For anyone who needs a fun, taboo and endearing romantic read- this book was not at all dark but it was a very fun read. This took forbidden to a whole new level while still keeping a decent amount of plot along with spice. Allison and Blake were both broken souls that found one another and while the book concept was pretty outlandish, fiction is always better than reality in my opinion. I enjoyed every minute of this book and will check this author out again!.

    Are you into steamy romances where fantasy becomes real? Then this book is for you!

    I wasn't too sure at first with what I'd think of Blake and Allison's story as it does involve some of non-con with Allison's fantasies, but Blake couldn't be more of a caring and thoughtful man!

    Ever since Allison's boyfriend Brad left her for her ex-best friend, she has had the same fantasy dream for the past year, of a masked mine breaking in and having his way with her.

    Blake, who was a former cable installer, is an escaped convict who was imprisoned on false rape charges. (I don't want to spoil the why he was charged, so be sure to dive into the world of Blake and Allison to find out!)

    While Blake is on his way to Mexica after escaping prison, he just so happens to find a home with a door unlocked. Turns out, the home was Allison's and she finds Blake in her closet with a mask on. Allison at first is worried, but begins to realize this is her chance to finally have her fantasy dream come to life!

    This book will hit you in all the feels, as Daisy St. James takes you on a whirlwind experience of an unexpected meeting turning into true love, you'll be routing for Blake and Allison to have their happily ever after!

    I sure hope that we will get some more Allison and Blake 🤞

    This is a steamy romance between Allison and Blake. These flawed but likeable characters, the undeniable connection, and the unique plot make for an intriguing read.     Blake is in prison for a crime he didn't commit and has his cellmate start a big scene and he manages to escape from prison during the chaos. Allison lives alone and is trying to get back to herself after her boyfriend left her for her best friend. She comes home one night and slowly discovers that she isn't alone. Blake has been hiding in her closet ever since she came home, and he was trapped. When she finds him instead of being scared Allison is somewhat calm. After they talk it isn't long before things heat up between them. She agrees to hide him but its not long before he realizes that he can't put her in danger. Will they get a second chance to be together? Will he get set free?

    This is an amazing story that once I started it I couldn't put it down. This is a well written and very entertaining story. Its a book that any book lover would enjoy.

    This book was different from what I had expected, and I think it was because of that it took me a while to get into it properly, and I was wondering if I'd even finish it. I'm so glad I did. By the time I was 60% of the way through, I had tears in my eyes and flew through the rest of the book.
    Only reason it's not 5 stars is as I said it took me awhile to get into it, but I can't be sure if that's my own fault for having the wrong expectation from the book or if the writers style was difficult for me to adjust to.

    Either way, this book is well worth the read!
