    This is definitely a must read! Blew threw both of these books in 2 days! You just can't put it down and thank heavens we didn't habe to wait for the second one! Lots of twists and its hard to tell the end game until everything just blows up! Literally! Just wish the next book was already out that continues the story.

    This I would highly recomend! Just be prepared for darkness and elements that could trigger some people but they are limited in description so that does help to blow right by them and their references.

    Definitely a must read! Enjoy!

    I sat down to read this book and end of finishing in one day. Since the beginning Willow and Caspian had their cards duet with lies and betrayal. Their parent were close and emerge both of their company's together but his mom was having an affair with her dad since they meet in college and his mom was engaged to another man. Moving forward Willow and Caspian were best friends but everything changed when Willow lost her whole family and Caspian lost his mom. She told him that she new their parents were having an affair and he did not want anything to do with her. During the time they were apart he got kidnapped and became a different person. Years passed and saw each other in college he was a big bully to her and treated her so bad because he wants revenge for his mom. So when she turned a certain age you will have both companies but their are people willing to kill her for them.

I never seen that ending coming at all I am proud to say I own both these books and am looking to buy the paperback.

    I like it I like it a lot! There was hot 🥵 romance, twist and turns, there was mystery, there was enemies to lovers, betrayal and so much more. Man this duet covered a lot and I am so here for it! I love the story I was wrapped in it! What I didn’t like: the first book mainly told the back story for what seemed like FOREVER! I skipped a bit because most of that could have been condensed a lot!

    This book made up for the first in many ways, they way the story came together and ended was pretty great. I also enjoyed the artwork displayed through the book it put you in the story even more, if you can appreciate art that is. The dark pieces I felt in my soul and the ending art as well it was a great idea. All in all It was worth the read

    The book started off slow. And while I could see some of it, it wasn’t all necessary. Also, still annoying was the lack of argument about Willow’s feelings about Lillian. A realistic argument was served up but it was ignored. Then at about the 75% mark, the whole plot goes into overdrive. Once again, the main characters show signs of complete stupidity. You don’t overhear a sketchy argument then go running to that person with dangerous information. Additionally, the way Alexander was dealt with was unsatisfactory. And because the story mostly takes place in the last 25% of the book it was extremely rushed. And the ending was also stunted and unsatisfactory.

    What a relief to get to the end. So much intrigue, lies and betrayal. Willow and Caspian were both broken characters with so much darkness but who brought light to each other’s lives. I really loved their story and hope we get to see a little more of them in Lucian and Eilish’s story.
