- Reviewed in the United States on October 26, 2022“The heart needs what the heart needs.” Sometimes you just want, or need, a feel-good, enjoyable read that’s not to cerebral, intellectual or complicated, but still interesting and entertaining. This series, which I stumbled upon by accident, turned out to be just what I needed.
I will definitely be going to the author page to check out other books by Aimee Nicole Walker!
- Reviewed in the United States on May 13, 2021I have read all of the Curl Up & Dye books but this collection makes reading them all like I've never read them before. Talk about a binge on steriods! I spent a wonderful 3 days reading the stories non-stop and it was great to visit old friends and to see how they came together and built a life together. Love this series!
- Reviewed in the United States on September 16, 2021The characters are engaging and you want to be included in their group of friends. There is murder and mystery in the mix enough to satisfy all readers that want more than straight they met and fell in love. The writing is crisp and there are some very funny one liners throughout the book. I loved each book in this set.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 15, 2022I've read this series multiple times and it's my go to when I need "comfort reading". I was thrilled to see this was available in a single Kindle series, so I had to snap it up! I need more comfort reading!!
- Reviewed in the United States on September 12, 2021I loved this series so much that after book 2 I ordered the entire series physically. Love the sass, the pure love, and I want my own real life Savage XD
Highly recommend
- Reviewed in the United States on March 8, 2020I read a lot, especially since I subscribed to Kindle Unlimited. I don't necessarily buy all those books. I purchase the books that I fall in love with and don't want to lose track of (because, hey, I read a lot). I purchased this entire series because I just can't get enough of Josh and Gabe. So funny and so well written.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 20, 2020This is the most amazing set, all the snark and romance. Well eventually on the romance because Gabe took a while to figure it out. Can't forget the bird either, best bird ever.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wow
This has been an epic read through all the different stories but shows how the love 💘and endearing qualities come together so well. I love Josh and his glib witty banter. And Gabe with his perseverance. Fantastic series of books.

3.0 out of 5 stars Das geht besser

5.0 out of 5 stars Curl Up and Dye mysteries
Loved the two main characters, especially Josh. Good work on the mysteries, they progressed in an easy flow, without being too much or too little, keeping the focus on the relationship developing between Josh and Gabe.
In many series, I get bored with the main characters as scenes seem either redundant or repetitive; fortunately, this series is fresh from book one to the final book. Of course, the first few books are better in that the characters’ relationship with each other were still in flux, so the level of tension was more immediate, but I still enjoyed reading each book in this series.
I am sad to have come to the end of Josh and Gabe’s stories, and hope the author revisits these two and provides us with another mystery and updates on their ever-growing family.

5.0 out of 5 stars amazing series
God I love Gabe and Josh. I enjoyed all the characters in the series and side stories but these two were the original characters that started off this amazing series full of love, devotion, friendship and what I being a decent human being is like.
