    I love Deborah's books. I own every series she has put out and this one is just as good as the others. I enjoy the twists and turns. I really appreciate that life and others tend to be the obstacle in the way and not only lack of communication and distrust. Dane and Bridget is a great love story about sacrifices, compromise and understanding. I love the fact that Dane is ultimately willing to put his life on hold because Bridget's dreams are just as important to him as his own. Well thought out plot, well executed. The characters are well developed and easy to become emotionally invested in. I bought this series 2 years ago and recently decided to give it another read. It was a good choice of my time. It will be a good choice for yours.

    I have been filling in the gaps of al the Deborah Bladen series. I somehow had missed one of this particular series, so why not read the whole thing again right? Once again it was enjoyable and easy reading. I always enjoy the intermingling of the characters between all of Deborah's series. This one had a couple surprises for me. And yeah, there was some 'smoke' weaved in there too!

    I am a very big fan of this author but I now I wait until the box set is released before I buy her books because she leaves each part on such a huge cliff hanger I just can't wait until the next part is released.
    This was one of my fave series so far from her and I think it's because both characters were good to start with. Sometimes she takes a bad boy and turns him good but this time he was too good from the start. I think I have a bit of a book crush on Dane the sexy firefighter. If you are a fan of Deborah Blandon you will enjoy this new series and if you haven't read any of her work I suggest you try some, they are great.

However the dialogue is just strange, clipped. Shouldn't people who want to know each other talk a lot, not just have clipped conversations. Judge it for yourself.

    This book will keep you on the edge of your seat. It just isn't what I was expecting . Something that is just not fully out in the open and you are waiting. sex is great if not conventional. up until the end there is just something right on the edge of them telling you but not.
    This is a book at first picking it up I thought would have a problem keeping my interest, but let me tell you, after the first couple of chapters I was hooked. just couldn't seem to put it down, I had to know what the BIG secret was. It ended at a good place and after seeing that the author saying that they were going to continue it, well I just don't see why they would want to weaken the story but dragging it on and on. It ended very well in my opinion.
