    4-4.5 stars. While I loved Sadie and Hunter together, Hunter was so confusing. He seemed so out of reach and enigmatic, full of sexual promise and nothing else. He wants Sadie without commitment knowing full well that she isn't that type of girl. Then he decides that maybe they could have an arrangement for a temporary period. Later he wants all of her, yet he reveals so very little about himself when it's obvious he is hiding something. Sadie is extremely intelligent, attractive and the sort of person who will do big things in her life because she makes it her purpose to achieve the highest possible goal. Her love life is less lucky so she's self-conscious of Hunter's attraction to her, especially because she knows intimacy will reveal something ugly about herself. I saw the ending coming and that up until that point, the story was good but I didn't know where it was going and now that I do, I'm a lot more interested to continue.

Although, it wasn't difficult to guess the twist long before it happens, there is certainly an element of anxiety for the reader--waiting to see how Sadie will find out! And how will Hunter still keep Sadie after he is exposed. Ooh- exciting.

    Great beginning, I am looking forward to book 2.

    If you're OK with a short snippet into the lives of your characters with an ending that's not really a "cliff-hanger" as some call it, but more of an abrupt, unexpected, screeching halt, then I suppose this book will suit your reading taste just fine. The characters were just beginning to develop when the "chapter" ended. Not even a novella. The predictable story line has been done again and again.
    If the book were completed and sold as one unit, I'd read it, but as it is, I was left unimpressed and disappointed.

At first I wasn't understanding Hunters fast developing feelings. Just get past that and read. Read fast. You won't regret it. I'm crossing my fingers book two will be as good!

    Wow! This book is off to a fast start! It's almost predictable but I still couldn't stop reading it! Hunter & Sadie have an instant connection that Sadie almost ruins with her craziness. I understand her hesitation in getting involved with someone due to her previous experience but she temporarily lost her mind. Now to Hunter....oh what a tangled web we weave......can't wait to see how this unfolds!

The ending however took me by surprise and I wanted to scream. Tricky, tricky, tricky. Starting the second book tomorrow because I know I won't be able to put it down.

    I really cannot fault this book ,an easy enjoyable read,and I would suggest reading part two, three ,and four of the series too.I however i will only write this revive for the series as a whole.my only negative was that in my opinion the book could have been one whole full length book ,not four short stories.
