The entire Gone series was a thrill to read start to finish. As soon as I read the first chapter when Clive Parker utters these words after Lilly asks who is he, ( the guy who was supposed to receive her panties and Clive's reply is "I'm his worst nightmare" all the while knowing, he's kept her panties because she sent them to him by mistake, I was absolutely hooked. Deborah is a beyond talented writer. While there are many authors out here both really good, as well as really crappy and utterly forgettable, the fingerprint that she leaves between each and every page,as you turn to the next, is unmistakable. She's a true artisan and ultimate story teller. And this series is no exception. Somehow she takes the reader on a journey where the characters have boxed themselves in a corner with seemingly no way out. And just when you're absolutely sure (as your stomach has dropped) there's no hope, no way, no chance the characters will be able to work it out, she again, walks us through a maze that always brings us to the exact place the story was always meant to be. I've never come across any other writer who can not only make the seemingly impossible more than possible, but with every book, every story, the always thrilling ride she takes me on, leaves me breathlessly panting and ready for the next story with anticipation and excitement! How do you know Gone will be a great read? Simply put; because Deborah Blandon is the arthor and that name alone, will always keep me coming back for more.

This series was a good story, I enjoyed the characters, and the plot. However, the grammar mistakes were slightly unnerving and hard to look past, though there aren't many. I also really would have liked some more detail into their emotional relationship, more specifics of what their relationship was like outside of the office/drama/bedroom. Overall, good read :)

One thing I can say is that Deborah sucks you into her writing and doesn't let go until you have reached the very end. I can't believe the cliffhanger that part two ended on but at least part three will be releasing in two days. One thing I can say is that I was extremely proud of Lilly for standing up to Clive. Her resolve didn't break once and she told him everything that he did wrong in their brief relationship. I love that she's not too naive to believe him and take him back because he wanted her to. But after the bombshell that dropped at the end, she has no reason to believe that isn't behind the set up. He said that his persistent at going after what he wants and that's with everything. I can't wait for the final addition!

Deborah Bladon has created a series of episodic books that I love. You don't feel cheated at the end, you are excited about the next one.

    Love this series.

Clive is your favorite hot software CEO and Lily is a smart programmer. Lily does something stupid by sending a photo to Clive that's compromising. This mistake follows her through the book.

Clive is slightly Alpha but not overly so its a nice balance. Lilly is smart and practical heroine so you immediately like her. Not whiny.

A great sexy series, can't say enough. LOVE IT!

This could have been a 4=star but the dragging on of Lilly's pushing Clive away because of trust issues. Don't get me wrong I wouldn't trust anyone who goes through my personal laptop without asking and checks my browser history too. We are not married, or living together. What gives him the right? Ok, now on with the show. They are both dealing with grieving a loved one or ones. Clive thought see was stealing his personal grief to sell her app not knowing she has her own grief. Now trust is a big issue for her to be won back over. She now works for his competitor and doing very well for herself. Clive seems genuinely happy for her until her big presentation and something goes wrong and the suspicion is on Clive again...... Next and last book!

I liked this was better than part one...I feel like there was more Clive being Clive and I totally like him. He's pretty damn sweet and I would love for a guy to ask me to dinner every night for an entire year...I feel like Clive and Lilly start to heal from their pasts in this and she's moving ahead with her new job and Ben and Kayla make an appearance...Ben is still swoon worthy even though this is Clive's book...crazy cliff hanger at the end!! can't wait for part 3!!
  • Reviewed in the United States on February 25, 2015
After flying through the first book in this series, I jumped right into this one. That cliffhanger really got me and I had to know what would happen next in the Clive and Lilly Saga.

Gone, part 2 picks up right where the first one left off; with Lilly walking away from her dream job and the man that had worked himself into her heart. Clive knows that he messed up and is willing to do whatever it takes to get Lilly back. She sparked something within him that he can't explain. I love how relentless he was in his pursuit. His vulnerability in this book really endeared him to me and I found myself liking him more and more. When he and Lilly bared the hurt of their tragedies my heart broke for them both.

Just when things are looking on the up them, a sneak attack threatens to sabotage all the progress they've made. Gah! This cliffhanger was better than the last, it puts into question all the progress they've made. I can't wait for what I'm sure is going to be a thrilling conclusion.

5.0 out of 5 stars GONE part Two. (trilogy) by Deborah Bladon.
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on January 2, 2015
I waited until all 3 parts were published... (just a couple of weeks apart).. I am so glad I did, as I spent Christmas reading this trilogy, and the first two part end on a cliff hanger, which would have driven me mad if I had to wait to read the next part. Well worth a read. I love this author, she understands relationships, does not scrimp on detail and builds a tension which is a real page turner. Well worth a read... Love this author.

2.0 out of 5 stars Gleicher Stoff und wieder unnötiger Cliffhanger
Reviewed in Germany on January 3, 2015

I really do think there should be a law against publishing a series before all books are available, I hate waiting!!
This series has a great storyline, it's written well and the characters are good. It doesn't get 5* just because it could have been one book in my opinion, and it would have been a fantastic book!
